i cant think of a better title
but, my field commander/drum major gets a boner every time he conducts... D= and looking at an upward angle makes it kinda hard to miss
Whats some weird things that happen/ed during your marching season

My BD wanted to see the "life of a high schoolmarcher" so he told a junior clarinetist to set her clarinet on the side line and march with a video camera instead. She made up differt moves for pistol, ready front and set. It wasn't all that weird just funny.

Our school has a rather large stadium and our BD goes up to the top of it near the press box so she can see out formations. So we have to use microphones. One time at night rehearsal, her mic wasn't working so she yelled down to our color guard director "Jim! Turn Me on!" in front of the ENTIRE color guard and band. It was really silent for about half a minute before everyone busted out laughing.
Yep, good times.

omg the boner is ******** hilarious! I have to tell my band that next season
Weird thing in our band as gotta be we yell
Im not sure if all bands are like that
but when ever we are on feild and talking
we yell
no, no noise, no nothing
but we still yell at one another
Its pretty funny at times--but the older marchers get all pissed off about it

when we tried to march at the same time the lawn mower was trying to work around us...

The boner thing is just great.
Our BD is really chubby and when she waves her arms she gets all flappy and it's disgusing.

LOL. . .boner. . .Our band director is WEIRD, whenever an eighties rock song come on from the football field by the people in the booth, he takes his hat off and acts like it's the banner or something! lol. one time, when we were on the practice feild, "Eye of the Tiger" came on and he stopped the band and just let us listen to the song until it was over! xd he's freaky!
Oh, and a not-so-weird-but-stupid-thing would be when we played our rivals AKA the Tigers. and they don't like our school, so they vandalize and we vandalize, it's a giant mess really. But anyway, an idiot in our band blasted "Eye of the Tiger" we were forced to take his baritone away! lol!

Our band does really wierd things for good luck. Everytime we go over railroad tracks, we "Screw". It's really just, we hold our breath, close our eyes, touch a screw on the bus and lift our feet off the floor. It's hillarious to watch the freshmens faces when we say that it's time to screw rofl . They think we accually mean it. I know i did when i was a freshmen.
