You could write a petition to the school regarding the Japanese class. If you can gather at least 60 students to sign the petition that would give you an instant YES.

Yep, then you have to get comittees from the school board, PTCO, and Teachers association to agree on it. You also might need (and I'm no expert here) a qualified Japanese teacher.

If you know the teacher is strict and knows English well then definitely take it!!!

If it is the opposite like what I have, then your better to just do it yourself or find a tutor near you.

I'm in Japanese 2 in highschool and It's awesome! lol we watch anime in the spare times. rofl But the thing is, it's all about the teacher. Our teacher Suzuki (lol yes it is) was the best in the world, he brought in sushi and we partied alot. But it's really easy. Just memorize the hiragana and katakana beafore you get in though, it'll be alot easier.
