I haven't read this book yet but it sounds interesting. I read The Catcher In The Rye and I loved it. I can see why Gerard says it's his favorite book. My teacher who loaned me a copy would not leave ma alone about it and had to analyze it with me. I have never heard of another book that mentions My Chem. but I hope to come across one in my reading. I really try not to think about which one will doe first as I am not quite sure what I would do if one of them did. I probably wouldn't be able to leave my room for days because I would cry so much but that's just me.

I think it was rude, actually. I've never seen any of them wear black make up, though.

Not completely. They look different, yeah, which I like.
Have you ever heard MCR in another book? If so which one?
Nope, haven't yet. Did read about them in a fanfic I read once. It was HP fanfic and the character had turned 'emo' I guess, so she was listening to them.

I don't think about it, but I know it will come one day.

For that comment, yes. It was rude and unnecessary, truthfully, but it was his opinion. I respect that.

xnotxperfectx When was it written anyways? Febuary 2007. I've been trying to get it since it first came out, but I was unsuccessful until a couple weeks ago.

Just from that paragraph, I'm already sucked in. I'd love to read it.
I think that everyone needs to read 'The Catcher in the Rye',
at least to make their own opinion about it.
I don't think he's full of s**t.
He's writing from the point of view of a character in a ficitonal story.
It's the character's opinion, not his.
And yeah, I think they did look like that at one time.

Guess what my peoples? I found a few other written stou can find MCR!!! Not only had Steven King's son mention MCR, but Stephen King HIMSELF mentioned MCR in a book he wrote... damn, I can't remember which one! There is a link here to a youtube video that has Mikey and Frank talking about the other places. One was a comic book... Mikey found it, then threw the comic across the room in joy. Yes, I love the little comic book nerd, I'm trying to find the comic he was talking about!
