Okay just hear me out on this. If you've read the book Twilight then you know that the character edward has yellow eyes and russet hair and Bella's pretty with brown hair. Dude... Zuko brownish hair and yellow eyes, Katara brown hair and pretty... just kind of caught my attention. Also Toph's personality almost fits Alice's lol. rofl

Uhm, Toph=Alice? No. Just...no. I can't see that happening, sorry XD;
And Zuuko=Edward...? Hahaha XD Sorry but that's pretty funny. I mean, c'mon, if you picture Edward in your head...are you really gonna visualize ZUUKO? Plus their personalities...not very similar >.>
And Bella and Katara...please, don't even let me start >.<

Edward is, well, perfect (ugh... rolleyes *Sushi is Jacob-fan*)
And Zuko isn't ;/
~Katara vs. Bella~
Katara acts motherly and cares for her friends and others except for Zuko...
Bella doesn't act motherly but...always the damsel in distress. Cares for others, but mainly for her vampire/werewolf/biological family.
~Alice v. Toph~
Alice is always perfect around others, and is more a a Ty Lee than a Toph
Toph doesn't care if people can see if she's picking her nose. ;o

That and Edward looks nothing like Zuko... Edward has reddish hair... and He doesn't have a scar on his face.. he's flawless... Bella isn't Katara at all... Bella is a risk taker.. Something Katara would never do... Katara is pretty wise and aware of danger, but Bella embraces danger. =] Toph isn 't as delicate looking as Alice! Alice is tough, but delicate looking... Alice likes fancy things sometimes too and Toph doesn't..

Yes, but I don't think Bella is a risk taker, Katara will risk somethings but she actually thinks it through, Bella, on the other hand, doesn't and besides she's a magnet to danger ;/ it's her calling~
Sometimes I hate Bella ;/ mostly in Eclipse. Her actions aren't what you'd expect a person's reaction would be. Especially at the ending. That was done very poorly in my case. ~♫

Ah, a non-romance-novel-reading-boy in our midst!
The Twilight series is a series of books about a girl who falls in love with a vampire. The first book was pretty good, but, in my opinion, the other two were disappointing. Enough editorializing, though.
The book and the show are completely different. The only relation between the characters are superficial, and even that's a stretch.
tl;dr: Comparing Avatar and Twilight is pretty pointless and retarded.

omg so i'm on the book eclipse- haven't finished it yet. please don't give it away for me- and i'm on the page where Jacob professes his love for Bella and Bella says she loves him like FAMILY...i totally thought of avatar there.
like Zuko=Edward and Katara=Bella and Jacob= Aang (it logically makes sense because katara sort of likes aang like a brother...)
yea so i'm a zutara fan and i totally connected it all.
glad im not the only one who could see simularities b/w them
p.s Twilight/New Moon/Eclipse are the best books EVER!!

The saddest thing was that I had the same thought as I was reading this series -_-;
Edward does remind me of Zuko and Bella Katara. However, I think I’d have to disagree with Alice being Toph. The physical characteristics match with her short dark hair and tiny build, but Alice is a complete girly-girl! She buys skin products just for Bella, and has tries (and succeeds) to make Bella over on several occasions. I also think that Jacob fits, personality wise, to Aang for both Twilight and New Moon, then a combo of both Aang and Jet in Eclipse. Not quite sure why, Jake just seemed a little more… not so childish, or something like that, in the 3rd book.
Just curious, has anyone read the re-written version of chapter one for Twilight Stephenie Meyer’s website? It’s done in Edward’s POV and is so completely morbid yet hilarious at the same moment.
