A project I am working on for my Japanese class is to cook something and video tape it, while speaking only Japanese, of course. My group has decided to bake Banana Bread, but the recipe has a fractions, and I don't know how to say one-fourth (1/4) and one-half (1/2).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One thing they don't cover as far as fractions go, probably because you can find it in a dictionary, is that 1/2 is generally just 半分(はんぶん) and not 二分の一.
