there was one time where we were playing at a home football game it was during the first half. anyway, i dropped my clarinet between the bleechers, and i went down to get it. to my horror not only was it dirty and the lyre came loose, but my mouth piece broke, but my reed was completely intact.

I have this irrational fear of not having my clarinet near me. If we go outside for fire drills my first thought is "I should run back in and get my clarinet". I also walk to school, and bring my clarinet home every night, so I always worry that I'll leave it at home or something.

I did something sort of like it except it was with my music. I couldn't share with anyone either cause its one to a part. Luckily my mom dropped it off.

I have that fear all the time. When we went to large group festival a few weeks ago i had to check the inside of my case atleast twice. During marching season too, keeping track of the uniform hat gauntlets instrument shoes street clothes...ugh its a tad overwhelming. especially since i forget things on a pretty consistent basis. It didnt help either that a girl in my section forgot her clarinet to one of the marching competitions, my brother stole her one from another school though.

Once I almost threw up because I didn't have my band music, so my grandma had to bring it to the school. xDD [I had 2nd period lessons... D: ]
I swear, if I EVER forget my music, I'm screwed. I'm my only section. [Tuba].
I'm also always afraid that somebody will take my Tuba out of it's bag, and possibly break it. I'm always afraid of choir kids or sixies stepping on Big Baby. gonk

I never forgot my trumpet, but I did forget my music one time. Luckily, I had time to go home and get it and be back before the concert. I was about three miles from my high school and had my Bronco to drive. =D
I did forget my music for marching band several times this semester. Nearly death for me. eek

I accidentally only put one of my crash cymbals in the cymbal case, and I had to have someone I hardly knew drive me up to the high school to get my other cymbal. xDDD;;
But as for my flute, I've been VERY good about bringing back and forth from school every day biggrin

Thankfully I've never forgotten my bassoon for a concert, but I did forget to bring it to my lesson once...I thought it was in the car and it wasn't ^^'.... I have forgotten music, though, and I had to make a photocopy of it about five minutes before I was supposed to play...
