rekkaryuu I HAVE NEW PROOF!!!  If you look at the subtitle at the bottom, you'll see. I was watching the end of episode 50 and Axel was talking to Maurice and he said this. He was saying how everyone had left this town, but Renton was the only one who came back. Now it just may be me, but is sure sounds to me like Renton and Eureka did return. And since we know that they are elsewhere, I would have to say it also shows they're on vacation by the timeskip. And you know, `Renton... a LOT can happen in one year. razz And in the family register, it lists Eureka and Renton as mother and father respectively, so that means they probably did get married. Just felt like adding that. razz

Otherwise I'd agree with you. When they're falling it looks like they're falling to the moon, not earth.
The letter that Axel is reading I think is the letter from when Renton goes to Maurice and gives him the letter that he then shows Holland. Would make sense right? Then Axel adopts'em and what not and you see everything that happens after.
Then they come back to earth and that's what you see in the end with them in the forest...
Did I put that right?
Okay so...Hold on...My theory...
Renton gives Maurice the letter-Holland writes in it or whatever was stated before and gives it to Axel- Axel adopts them and they eat the breakfast...One year later-They come home.
Well I guess you can interrprit that anyway you want, that's just what I gathered. Though till you metioned that I never new what the letter was.
Sorry for the wall of text...
