Nobody mentioned Jelly Jam yet? I love them. Ty Tabor's excellent guitar playing and unique voice, Rod Morgenstein's simple but very fitting drumming, and of course our old pal John Myung on bass. ^__^ OSI is a favourite, too. Interestingly, I've only got the second albums by both those bands... am I missing out?
I also enjoyed 'An Evening With John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess' immensely. And then there was Derek Sherinian's solo band, which was great too... I've been meaning to check out Transatlantic, what are they like?
And of course, no DT side project post could be complete without at least a mention of Liquid Tension Experiment. mrgreen

The whole Aryeon project is a masterpiece in and of itself. I've yet to listen to 01011001 yet, but I'll get to it xd Whoever said Arjen was a genius, I concur. But LaBrie pulled that part off so well. Great line-up choices for THE.

I digs me some John Arch and some Transatlantic for sure. Just bought A Twist of Fate today and Mike Portnoy's drumming is top-notch as always.
Have to admit that, in the case for Transatlantic, I listen more for Morse and Stolt than for Portnoy, though. redface
