Taren had been momentarily distracted from the conversation, watching the silver dragon that was partnered with his friend wonder off to find somthing more interesting than the three children. Dark eyes filled with awe but longing as well. He blinked back up at Valens and nodded. "I start classes when my egg hatches." he informed him and his nose twitched slightly in a frown. "I'm not sure I want to." he admitted, the oversized claws scratching at his hair a little making the shoulder length bangs messy and more strands come lost from the tie. Hey Taren was not like other boys in the sense of hero worship, he wasn't much of a fighter and the idea of being trained to just that unsettled him slightly.
"But I can't wait till I get a dragon," he giggled sweetly "Mum doesn't like the idea though." he added, casting a glance over at Alora mainly now and then but then his shyness would get the better or him and he looked back at Valens or around the room, eying the cookies for a while but dismissing the idea since a number of dragons and other kids were already gathered around the tables.

The party had already begun...no past begun in full swing now. They were late...so very late.
But Chath didn't really mind, it had been enough to try and bring Keir and finally the black downright refused to come by taking a snap at the newt. Chath sighed as he entered the room, there were a lot of people here and he felt a bit nervous being here. What if the person he gave the SS didn't like the gift? What if they weren't even here? He wasn't sure what was worse.
Standing there awkwardly in the door way his sister pushed past him only offering a glare as she scanned the crowd pinpointed who she was looking for and moved off.
The mantis had been moody as of late, Chath could only make a wild guess as to why. As far as he knew she was back together with Ter so what could her problem be now? With a sigh he spotted Ligeia with a bright blue...child and a kid he hadn't seen in a while Ankoi.
Offering a wave to the group he approached. He wore no shirt it was too awkward with him having to change his bandages all the time. But sleek black pants and sandels that were his normal attire.
"Hi, sorry I am late." he said as he reached them, giving Geia a peck on the cheek quickly and feeling a bit self concious about it.
"Long time no see Anoki." he added forcing his embaressement away and smiling. He then looked to Drez, noting the brillant colors.
"Hello..I am Chath." he introduced himself not knowing the sea snake was blind.
Zyan hadn't bothered to linger, she left her brother in a huffed state, mostly cause they were late and she wanted to see her boyfriend. Scanning the crowd it took her no time to pinpoint Ter and his friend Nibal near the treats table, not even bothering to wave she walked towards the pair.
Hinder looked around eager to get started. So many dragoness's and o little time to woo them all. His tail wagged as he followed his girl taking note of the different species of dragon that were in the room and then felt his heart sink. Ah. Baroness was here....there went his plans. Now he had to play the faithful subordinate....lucky him. Better bring a gift.
Looking around it didn't take him long to spot the shinies that were adorning a pine tree. Walking over to one he picked the one the sparkeled the most and gently took it over to the wyvern.
"Here there love." She greeted the cobra with a kiss on the lips, interrupting any conversation that could of been occurring between the two boys. She then looked over her shoulder her eyes looking a tad cold.
"Hey there Nibal." she greeted, as if it was a bit forced.

Drez turned back around and moved to the side of Vouel where he could contune to pet the dragon. "Umm, I don't mean to be rude but what is your DNA Anoki?" Drez asked a little nervous as to what type of reaction he would get from the older boy and played with his necklace a little.
Drez heard the approch of the other boy and stoping near Geia but thought something but thought it wasn't the place to ask. Drez flicked his tongue and looked at Chath he was excited to meet new people. "Hi Chath, I'm Drez," he said smiling.

... Well, that wasn't something one saw every day. At least, Anoki hadn't seen ANY public displays of affection before, and the whole thing confused him more than a little. But he tried to not let it bog him down too much. It had indeed been a while since he'd seen Chath- not that the two knew each other all that well, but still- and he'd heard disconcerting things.
"Y-yeah... long time!" he chimed in nervously. "H-how are you?"
He then turned back to Drez, relieved to have some sort of diversion. "M-me?" he asked, not at all offended. In fact, it was almost flattering that the younger boy had taken some interest. "N-Nubian Ibex. That's wh-what Mama Ray s-says, anyway. I c-can't tell what you are, e-either, but I r-really like the b-blue!"
Myung-Ki was still busy scarfing cookies, but from somewhere, he heard the word "pretties." What did that mean? Were there more that he could take? Or did someone want his? Either way, he stopped eating and looked around, eyes sharp. No one was going to have his pretties!
