As the title clearly says, this is were you submit entries for the Fanfiction category of the contest. Here's the jist of what to do and what you can post.

Prompts: Christmas/New beginnings/Anniversaries.
Forms: It can be any form - poetry, drabble, one-shot, AU. Well, any form except chapter fics - they're too long. However, you can continue the story after the contest if you wish.
Due Date: January 1 - February 2
Prize: 1st Place: A drabble written by me, based on the prompt or situation of your choice. 2nd Place: A Gaia item. 3rd Place: A Gaia item

~ Rating cannot be any higher than PG-13.
~ All entries must be posted within the allowed time frame.
~ All entries must be Zutara or focus on Zuko/Katara interaction.
~ You can only post in this category once. However, you can still post in the other categories if you wish.

A/N: I hope this isn't too long, but this is my first songfic. I hope you like it! There may be slight spoilers from WAT and the Katara/Zuko talk at the end. I swear I haven't seen WAT at all, and just used what I heard about it.

My heart pounded with fear at those malicious words he whispered. I am not alone in this world, but then, it felt like it.

The words I whispered instilled fear in her. I know it. But I’m all alone in this world. Uncle may be with me, but I still don’t care for his presence.

We fought, mostly my anger over him chasing Aang. But there was a spark about us that made me think of us together. And I found out I was sad without him.

We fought, but she was angered over me catching the Avatar. My destiny was to find him, capture him, and reclaim my honor from my father. She may have gotten in the way, but, strangely, I was happy. Happy about her intervening. I was sad in life without her anger.

He followed us to the Western Air Temple. He said he was reformed, changed. I didn’t believe him. I told him if he didn’t change, and he did anything to hurt Aang, I wouldn’t go easy on him. But his return brought me happiness, even through those stinging words I said.

I followed them to the Western Air Temple. I said I had changed, had reconsidered my options. She didn’t believe me. She yelled at me about not hurting Aang, but all I could do was think about her.

When the day is filled with shadows
That stretch into the night

He finally asked me how I felt about him. I said I loved him, how I thought about him every day. His eyes, like the rising sun, and his smile. The only time he ever used it with me was when he was grinning out of anger or spite. But I imagine what his happy smile would look like every day.

I asked how she felt about me. I was waiting for her to spit at my feet, yell at me. What ever she thought was best. I didn’t expect her reply. I thought about her every day, how she looked, her hair, eyes like deep seas of love, and her smile. She may not have used it in front of me, but I imagine what it would be like every day.

Now that we’re together, I’ve finally found my happiness. We’ve shared too many kisses to count, to the annoyance of Sokka, and the sadness of Aang. Aang was just too young. Toph didn’t really care much. She thought that as long as we were happy, she didn’t care. But it embarrassed me when she knew we were kissing.

Now that we’re together, I am not alone anymore. I’ve found balance inside myself. We’ve shared many sweet kisses, even though too many is never enough, even though Sokka was angry and Aang was disappointed. I knew he loved her, but I told him he was going to find someone else that he would be happy with. Toph didn’t care much. And that’s a good thing. But it was disconcerting when she knew we were hiding, sharing kisses.

We love each other so much. We never thought so much anger would fuel a passion between us. I will never leave him for another. He’s the Tui to my La. It’s a new beginning for both of us.

My passion for her is amazing. My anger and her anger mixed, but she’s the spark to my fire. I love her so much. We’re never going to split. It’s a new beginning for both of us.

A/Nx2: I have a habit, a good one , at least, of writing in first person from both sides. I like to do that, somehow. BTW, the first person talking is Katara, the second is Zuko. Some people get confused. It's both AU and normal. I don't have a fanfiction.net account, so I had to post it here.
