We had to do a parade on a day that was over 100 degrees, and the highschoolers had to stand in the road at the end and listen to a long speech while they were in those hot, heavy uniforms. They were dropping like flies, and the ambulance had to take a ton of people away.

We were playing at a concert and when we were moving the percussion instruments (I was moving the bells) someone dropped one of the snare drums...IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE SCHOOL! It was awful, people still make fun of us and that was last year, and only to of the orignal percussion people are still in percussion.

my friend and i were having a sword fight with mallets and I stepped back but forgot there was a step up into the percussion section and fell over and hit my head on the timp. It was sooo funny cause as my friend went to try and catch me he fell over and knocked about 4 stands over

Multiple things have happened on my line, one time this one guy set his bass down and it came off the carrier and rolled down the hill. Bad thing was it was on concret with a brand new drum sweatdrop good thing, it was the best drum roll i had ever seen xd ok yeah i know that was bad stressed another time i had to tape my bass mallet head on, (we couldn't afford new ones at the time) and we were praticing and the snare players where in front of us. i hit one rim click and my mallet head went flying off and hit the guy in front of me in the head.

well all my accidents is just me being me....
but one year our old marimba (we call it Rasputia 'cause it's so big) fell over....many times
and then one day during practice I was taking my sweatshirt off and my shirt came off with it infront of the entire pit and some drumline members...that really sucked
then sometimes my captain and I have races (she's on the xylo and I'm on the bells) and we lost a couple keys to the bells
oh and during our last parade, the pit was riding in the trailer and we were acting like a bobsled team (theam was Olympics) and as soon as the parade starts my shoe comes off and the trailer runs over it, so I'm stuck running behind the band trying to get my flattened shoe on T_____T

we have accidents moving equipment often because some genius decided to put the band room on the second floor.
one of them was we were carrying down the marimba and it slipped, and so my arm decided to have reflexes and break it's fall with my forearm. marimba was good, arm not so much, but hey, the instruments are more expensive than you. at least that's what i tell my section.

Today I dropped the metal xylophone on my foot. It's small, but heavy. I think my foot is broken. I don't know how I got home.

Things fall off all the time during shows. Our chime pedal broke during championships. >.< Vibe pedal fell off during 2 shows.
Anyway.. my favorite right here.. Our sound cart wasn't working so 6 parents were trying to fix it.. And later we were trying to get the timpani cart onto a certain street and the parents came up wit the bright idea of pulling it over the curb and a cymbal stand crashed into thethe main timpani andthe head tore down the middle. Thaat was an interesting show.
