Hi guys, an idle question for you.
Do you take part in the Gaia events? I was just wondering how many of us were active Gaians and how many (like me, usually) just used it as a message board.
I've not bothered with most events. I did a quest for Edmund for the heck of it and got a pretty brooch for my pains.
I think I saw Nuala enjoying the summer waterfights smile
Today I've actually spent most of the day online feeding orphans and giving them lung brushes *shudders* It's strangely addictive. Also, I've been carol singing as a side activity - you have to go to the shops to get the orphan goodies.
So, anyone else been helping orphans in their hour of need? Or vampire slaying earlier in the year?

Well, I can definitely say that the site has become my main hub in terms of online activities each night. I have my main list of threads and guilds that I frequent, and I've taken part in, I'm pretty sure, every major event since I started back in early 04.
So yes, I definitely remember the first Halloween zombie incident, and how dang hard it was to obtain items and skins due to the disadvantage of having dial-up (never did get any of the 04 event items....though I was lucky to get most of the Jack items that year).
Was happy to finally get the vampire skin this year, though. Although it is hidden right now by the feline skin I have on my avatar....Figure I at least have it there once I come up with ideas on how to use it, haha.
And also, I -did- have an art shop that I was keeping up with, until real life decided to yank most of my free time. Still, was nice to get to draw some rather interesting avatars alot. : P

MAD for a seraph<<Indeed I do, mostly to pick me up some nice free pixelated swag. mrgreen ...And then a handful more to take advantage of inflation after a long time has passed. sweatdrop
The events have been a lot of fun for me, especially since this other guild I'm often in always organizes a hangout thread for every event. Much chatter, hilarity, and goofing off ensues, and I love it. xd
I loved the vampire skin, but I missed having a mouth whenever I put on the Superior Form. sweatdrop So I went and got a mule account for it.
As for the Christmas event with the orphans, I found it addicting too. I just wish I could keep some of them! Especially the box-kid! sad >>Caught in her DELUSIONS

Some of you definitely jazz up your avatars a lot more than I do. Every so often I get an idea - late last year I was Magica De Spell for a bit, hence the black hair; at one point I was Ace from Doctor Who. Mostly I just dress in season, so thick jumpers are the order of the day at the moment.
I'm still in awe of Sea Salt Ice Cream's key blade biggrin

I've participated in events almost slavishly ever since I joined, but I was just too busy to get seriously involved with the last couple - especially with not being in Wales over Christmas.

I used to, but I've been getting rather less attached to Gaia in the last few months- frankly, the site's becoming far too rampantly commercial for my taste.

It's been getting worse and worse for the last couple of years. There's a reason why I hide in this guild a lot.

I've never gone outside of the guild...ever really.
And I don't participate in the Gaia events because they make little sense and very rarely work for me so I don't seen the point.

I only really take part in events for the sake of profit. I was really in to the Vampire event, but only because the final items for both the humans and the vampires sold for a substantial amount of gold; thanks to that, I was able to afford my scythe. ^.^

I definitely take part in the events, but I don't bother going to the forums unless it's required.

Well, it's Easter, so presumably something has been / will be happening. I have a ticking egg. I'm not sure this is a good thing...
