Aww, I liked the Constructicons. A lot more could have been done with them, but maybe later.
Also, is it just me, or is it annoying at how Bulkhead's getting a ridiculous amount of episodes devoted to him? I want more Ratchet and Prime-centric episodes, dern it!
Anywhoo, in regards to the latest one- A Fistful of Energon, it more than made up for the recent rash of weaker eps. SAMURAI Prowl teaming up with Lockdown? Starscream and his sexy clone army? YES.
Great episode in all; absolutely can't wait for more of those buggers to show up. I'm also glad the pace is finally picking up. Let's hope Swindle's upcoming appearance can keep the ball rollin'.

Having finally gotten around to watching Fist full of Energon, all I can say is "YESSSSSSSSSS!!!" Finally a good episode comes along! Character interaction is top notch, there is a bit of humor in there, and overall the show is wonderful!
Concerning Bulkhead, yeah, he does seem to monopolize the show right now. But, if you recall, the Teen Titans team has a habit of making character-centric seasons. Perhaps this is the 'Bulkhead' season?

Coss-posted from the VGCats forum. Edited a word to better comply with this forum. Quote: So, I just watched S.U.V.: The Society of Ultimate Villainy. I was expecting some Porter C. Powell goodness, as he helped the crooks. I was sadly dissapointed to find out that the 'mysterious benefactor' the episode talked about was a new human villain. I gotta say though, I was a bit surprised by how well the human villains accent each other. I know some of you won't like it, but I feel they work better thematically as a group. They'd work better if Meltdown lead them, but meh, I guess that's for season 3. And then something [edit] stupendiously[/edit] awesome happened. Something so awesome I'm going against my better judgement to share it with you and just wait for FanTransformers to put it up. I still believe that it's worth NOT knowing, just 'cause it's that awesome for the surprise; but here it is anyway. (highlight) Swindle appeared as the real benefactor. Now he's an arms dealer, looking to sell a EMP ray to Megatron, which he had the human villains create. He's farkin' awesome. He talks even just like a car salesman.

At this point, I will keep up the 'benefactor' reference to save spoilers too much. I was not overly fond of the voice, but it wasn't all that bad either. A resounding 'meh' for me. Still, it was not bad. The character was developed a bit and did well. I have never been a fan of the human villians, so seeing a set of them working as a team was no big fun for me.
It was nice to see them band together to get back at their double crosser, though.

Loved loved loved S.U.V. The human villains were actually enjoyable, I'm enjoying the new chick, and oh my god Swindle. Swindle was great. Absolutely loved how he went used car salesman on Megatron. I agree that his voice was... well, it was jarring at first (wasn't expecting Fred Willard!), but I grew to like it.
I even got my filthy hands on Autoboot camp, which was an okay episode until the last two minutes or so. The last bits of that episode had me "OH s**t"-ing for hours. Awesome.
Also managed to see Black Friday. EXCELLENT episode. Had all the characters I was whining about not having seen in a while. biggrin

pirate Thanks to the limitless joys of the internet, I have basically seen the last of the season. All I can say is HOLY SLAG!!!! There are surprises coming up that are beyond awesome in my opinion, and some of my theories have actually been confirmed.
SUV was mediocre to good for me. I gladly watch it, but meh.
Autoboot Camp is truly an excellent episode. Not only does it show a 'naming practice' to give our characters their identites, there was a blatant reference to somebody I actually did not expect to see. Yet I am laughing all the way around the house to see him and hear him as well. ^_^
Black Friday- Dayum. That is an awesome show. Grimlock plays such a pivotal role here and does it so well that I adore this episode. The rest is bleh, but like Garbage in, Garbage out, a single character can make the episode glorious.
Sari, No one's home is a meh episode. I understand why it is there, but for the most part it is an episode I could have easily done without.
The final show of the season- a two parter called A Bridge Too Close was semi-shoddy to watch because of a lack of audio. Still, two things made me nearly wet myself in joy. The seekers, and Omega Supreme!!! I dare not say more than that, even thought I put that this thread will have spoilers. Needless to say, I am VERY happy about this season endshows.

I agree. I am very much looking forward to the Bridge Too Close episode. It will no doubt be one of the best if not THE best of the Animated episodes. Yes Omega Supreme, Autobots in Decepticon's HQ, Shockwave, Seekers, Starscream's head, and more haha. It will be made of pure awesome except for the fact that it will end the season.
Autobot Camp is high up there. About time they shift back to Cybertron. It was very well done and provided great insight. This is probably one of my favorite episodes of the series.
Same goes for Black Friday. Grimlock and Arachnia kicked a** haha. Prime trying to interact with everything was amusing.
SUV was OK. I haven't really been a fan of the human villains so this wasn't one of the best episodes to me. Swindle made it interesting though.
Sari, No One's Home was intriguing but not anything special. It just wanted to prove some points with Sari but it was cool that Blitzwing was in there. Those Constructicons just can't catch a break haha. It basically goes to show in Animated that it is the Autobots fault that they go to the Decepticons.

A Bridge Too Close aired today here in Canada.
VERY good episode, but as it was supposed to wrap things up... it actually left a lot of loose ends with the plot.

Well, I have seen A Bridge Too Close now and am not disappointed. The seekers didn't get their names, but the personality traits were an interesting touch- I still wanna know more about the female one though . . . "And what part of me are you from?" "Don't ask." rofl rofl rofl
I also love the introduction of Omega Supreme, and the way his voice sounded. The only complaint I have there is how it was conversational. In G1 it was much more analytical, and I missed that. It was also a shame how he was removed from the show, but in the end he would have overpowered everything anyway, so it is understandable.
Constructicons were a nice bit too. Not for what the did, but how they were made Decepticons. Like in the comics (that I understand), the insignia was a painful process to have burned onto the body. It was nice to see that.

From everyone's description, it makes me wonder who's actually the bad guys? It seems a lot of the Decepticons were "converted" because of misunderstanding/maltreatment from the Autobots hence they join the "dark side". So if that is the case, won't that make the Autobots the true bad guys?

It has been confirmed that season three will be the final season for TF:A. I am very upset at this- as it finally seems to have gotten the show right. The correct mix of G1 references, decent homages, interesting designs, etc. crying

So far this is the only known Air date for Transformers Animated, but expect more Air dates to be announced for more countries in the coming weeks. Seibertron.com will keep you updated as more Air dates come to hand. To check out the announcement, please http://promos.ytv.com/transformersanimated/." This seems...interesting.

I just got watching the show, I watch it right before I go to school XD. But honestly I don't really like it for a lot of reasons and for one its too short lol. Does anyone know when new episodes come on? I'm getting tired of watching reruns.
Bumblebee is like my favorite character but they totally killed him his voice is really annoying. I can't stand the girl too.
Prowl = WTF?
Optimus is too young and Megatron is just...not that evil.
Why did they bring the Allspark into the show? WTF
