S.L.Y.

I was sitting in class waiting. Waiting for what? The signal of course. I glanced at Hinasha. She was waiting too. Then the intercom came on. It said, “Could I have Sakura Haruno and Hinata Hyuuga go to the principals office please. Tell them to bring their books.”

“You heard her girls. Go ahead.” Said Kakashi-sensei, our history teacher for second period.

I walked out of the classroom with Hinata trailing behind. We stopped at a different classroom door. Soon a boy with spiky black hair in the style of a chicken butt came out. He clicked his tongue and said, “This is going to be so boring.”

“At least we get a mission Sasuke.” I scolded.

I guess I should tell you who we are. We’re exchange students from Japan. I’m Sakura Haruno. I’m 13 years old. I have green eyes and pink hair. My friend Hinata Hyuga is also 13 and she has lavander with blueish black hair. Sasuke the oldest cause he’s three and a half months older then me.(In the anime Sakura's really the oldest but it's MY story right now) He’s 13 with onyx eyes and black hair.

We’re squad three in the new batch of junior spies in Silent Leaf Young Unit or better known as the S.L.Y Unit. We’re specially trained to gather information and to keep cool and be able to adapt to any situation.

When fighting, I specialize in hand-to-hand combat while Hinata specializes in long range using different types of aerial weapons and guns. Sasuke the kind that hides in the shadow and plans everything out like a strategist. Sometimes he’ll attack the opponent using the element of surprise.(I know. Sasuke's and Sakura's parts are the opposite in the anime)

Our mission is to find our recruit. All we know is that he goes to this middle school and he doesn’t have the highest intelligence. Not much information right? That’s why we came ourselves. To gather information around the school about our recruit and then track him down ourselves. Sounds easy- but that’s only the first part. The second part is about enemy spies. However, we didn’t get much information about that, so were going to the briefed from the principal were heading to.

Once we got to her office we knocked and heard a voice saying, “Come in.” We crossed the threshold and saw a blonde haired and brown-eyed woman sitting behind her desk. “Are you three from the S.L.Y. Unit?” she inquired.

“Yes, we are. We’re here for the briefing about………………………..enemy spies.” I whispered the last part. You don’t know when somebody may be listening.

“Ah, yes.” She said while observing us. Then she pressed a few buttons on her telephone and said, “Okay, we can talk freely now. I’ve soundproofed the room.”

“We’re the group searching for our other member but also doing another mission about enemy spies in this school. I suppose we are to find the enemies and eliminate them- am I correct?” Hinata inquired.

“Very good, Hinata, but that’s not all. We want you guys to extract as much info about the enemy’s plans before you kill them. Also, you must keep a low profile about everything. This is a very dangerous mission. Anything could happen. Back up is coming in four days and you should know them. I’ll keep you up to date on any information. But, be careful because the enemies could be in you very classes. That is all you’re dismissed. Oh, by the way, you can call me Tsunade.” She said.

We nodded and walked out the door. We saw Janitor Harry( xp ) cleaning up the hall on our way back I didn’t notice him. All of a sudden, I started falling. I guess I slipped on a wet spot. I braced myself for the impact ’cause I couldn’t escape the fall- but the pain never came. I opened my eyes to see Sasuke holding my arm keeping me two feet from the ground.

“You clumsy idiot. Watch where you’re going.” Sasuke said. Then, he dropped me on the floor.

“You jerk! Why’d you do that?” I shouted.

“Cause you’re heavy.” He said.

“I’m gonna kill you.” I said while glaring at him.

“Ah, um. Guys, we’re attracting attention,” Hinata said while glancing at the students that were watching us in the hallway.

I stood up, careful not to slip, looked around and then coughed awkwardly and said “Um, yeah. Let’s go Hinata. You to jerk.”

Sasuke looked around and said, “ Are you talking to me?”

I glared at him and said; “ I don’t see any other jerk around here.”

He faked a hurt face and said, “I’m hurt Sakura, I’m hurt. How could you say that about you’re best friend?”

“Because I can. Let’s go Hinata. To class!” I said. Then I dragged her to third period. Gym.

In gym, Hinata met a boy named Naruto. He was blond haired and had blue eyes. He was really fast, probably faster then Sasuke. He’s also real good at aiming like Hinata. I should recruit him for S.L.Y. He’d be a good candidate.

“Hello? Earth to Sakura. Are you there?”

“Stop that Sasuke” I said while slapping his hand that was waving in my face. “So what do you think of recruiting him?”

“I don’t like him” he replied while glaring at Naruto.

“You don’t like anybody.”

‘That’s not true. I like you.’ He thought with a tiny blush.

“Any who I’m going to recruit him. You coming?” I asked, and then I noticed his blush. "Are you blushing?"

"No!" he replied.

"You like me don't you?" I said. "I've been watching you. You acting different around me a lot and the only explanation is that you like me." He looked away. I decided not to bother him about. He could tell me on his own. " So you coming to recruit him?"

“Sure.” He replied hastily.

In our last class, study hall, I went up to him with Sasuke and Hinata beside me. He was reading a book on Spies. How appropriate. We walked up to him with a serious expression that masked our face. He looked up from the book and said, “Oh, hey Sakura, Hinata and Sasuke. What do you need?”

“Naruto, we’ve noticed that you’re good enough to be a spy and have great physical qualities.” I said.

“We want to recruit you for our spy organization called Silent Leaf Young Unit.” Hinata said.

“But since we have told you about us, you can no object to join.” Sasuke said with a cold stare.

“Whoa, whoa. Déjà vu. This happened just a year ago. And “no” I’m not going to join cause I’m already part of S.L.Y Unit. So chill. I’m just waiting for my teammates and a mission.” He said bored.

I gaped at him. HE was the person we had to find? I glanced over my shoulder to look at Hinata. She was surprised too. I could tell. I glanced at Sasuke too. Based on the fact he doesn’t have his usually poker face on, he must be shocked or surprised too.

“So you’re the person we were suppose to find?” Sasuke said in an annoyed voice.

“Depends. Who you looking for.” Naruto said trying to act cool but failed when he leaned his chair back too much fell. The whole class stared at him.

“Ow, that hurt.” He stood up and laughed nervously and said, “Eh he, no need to stare. Go back to what you were doing.” And everything went back to normal, well, as normal as it could get.

“You must be our teammate.” Hinata said. “ We’re looking for ours as you are waiting for yours. Perfect match. Do you agree?”

“Hmm, if you say it like that then, yes Hinata, I do agree. Your so smart.” Naruto said cheerfully with a broad grin.

Hinata blushed when he said that. “T-thank you.” She managed to stutter out.

Then I intervened. “If he’s our teammate, we need to catch up on our mission.” I said seriously. Then they all turned serious and tension was in the air.

“Let’s go somewhere else to talk about this.” I said and everyone nodded. We secretly snuck out of study hall and went to the principal’s office. Sasuke knocked and we heard Tsunade say, “Come in” We entered and she had a shocked expression on her face but only for a second. She quickly pressed a few buttons on the telephone and nodded.

“We needed a safe place to talk about the mission, mind if we use your office?” I asked.

“Fine. Just don’t mess it up, okay?”

“Of course” I replied.

“By the way, why is Naruto with you?”

“He’s our teammate that we were looking for.” Hinata said.

“Hmm interesting.I would've never thought he would be your teammate with his stupidity” said Tsunade “Oh, yes. This concerns your mission. Recently, there have been one or two groups of people acting strangely. As in gaining and losing spy like qualities.”

“You want use to spy on them and kill them if found guilty of being enemy spies, right?” Naruto guessed.

“Right and you don’t need to interrogate them anymore, we got that covered. Here are the files on the students. Review them thoroughly. You can start now. Dismissed” With that we left.

It took us five minutes to review the files. We found out that half of them had the same classes and teachers as did the other half. We crawled into the ventilation system right above the class that had the most suspects and reviewed the circumspect of the room and class. Then watched the main suspects carefully and found out they used signal and notes to communicate with each other. Later after class, Hinata “accidentally” bumped into the person who had the note and made it fall then Naruto picked it up easily with out anyone realizing it.

The note talked about plans on how to ambush Tsunade and gather information on S.L.Y Unit too. Bingo, the right people to eliminate. We pursued, stalked, and followed or whatever you call it, them until school was over. Once they were alone we showed ourselves.

“Hey” Sasuke said.

The enemies group consisted of two boys, one had brown hair, Dakar, and the other had dirty blonde hair, Hiram, and two girls, one with black hair, Hanna, and another with light blonde hair, Ami. They turned around and immediately charged at us with a dagger or long needle at great speeds.

I pulled out a long needle myself and ducked the incoming slash from Ami and stabbed her left elbow. She shouldn’t be able to use her left hand now. I took out another long needle and tried to stab her right knee but she jumped away quickly to dodge my attack. I glanced over at the other fights and saw they were doing well. Hinata had an advantage because her opponent couldn’t land a hit on her with her being far away and her opponent using close combat. Sasuke was just quicker so he could dodge each attack that was coming. Naruto was doing pretty well with the fact he was about finished with his opponent.

I turned my attention back to Ami right when she threw five needles at me. I dodged all of them but two scratched me on my left leg and arm. I needed to finish this quickly so I jumped onto a nearby bench and pulled out multiple needles and started throwing them consecutively with deadly accuracy. She dodged about seven then a needle lodged itself into her knee, then her other knee. She fell to the ground glaring at me unable to move her legs. I walked up to her slowly and punched her in her back to knock her out.

I looked at my teammates and they all nodded. We took the bodies to Tsunade so she could decide what to do with it. Once she dismissed us Naruto screamed, “Finally! Home sweet home!” Then I remembered something.

“Oh Naruto, you have to live with us now. We get to live in a huge house too.” I said smiling.

“Okay but is there any ramen?”

"What? Ramen? I guess." I looked at him weirdly as he was jumping up and down.

“So our first mission went pretty well didn’t it?” said Sasuke.

“Yes. We did well.” Hinata said.

"So Hinata, do you like him?" I said to her slyly. She blushed and looked at me.

"We'll talk about this later." I said giving her a wink. She blushed and walked home faster.

"Oi! Hinata wait for me! Will you show me around the house later? Please?" Naruto said running after her.

I giggled. They would make a nice couple. Then i turned my attention to Sasuke. He was looking at me with a tiny blush. I smiled and grabbed his hand and said," Lets go. It's getting late." And we ran home.
