So I'm babysitting over night right now for a 11 year old and a 14 year old becasue their parents are out of state for the day. And I ended up doing something that scarded the s**t out of me and confused me at the same time. Forgot how the conversation started but talking about realtions and all that kind of stuff and for some random reason I openly came out that I was bi.

I don't even know why I did it, it just kind of came out without me thinking about it. My family doesn't even know.

So kind of stupid but I just wanted to get it out while it was on my mind because there isn't anywhere else I'd feel comfertable saying so. Maybe it was just my under lying brain screaming at the chance to finally say it out loud.

Yeah actually. It felt really good because it felt like I was actually being honest with not only someone else but with myself out loud for the first time.

That's really great, in a way. It was probably the fact that you knew it wouldn't be as big a deal, because those are just kids you babysit for, and coming out to them isn't life-changing, like trying to tell your mother or father or best friend. Good for you.
I actually kind of did the same thing last week of school. It was a quarter day for me because I only had one exam, and I started hanging out with this boy. I'm really glad I did; we had just been "biology buddies," pretty much, beforehand. We even went out to eat after we left the school. And this boy happens to be bisexual, and an ex-boyfriend of a boy who I don't know very well, but who my best friends are hetero homies of. I ended up saying some things I had never said to anyone before - not even my two best friends who I tell every secret - about my sexuality, and he was surprised when I told him that he was the first I had told.

Congratulations on coming out for the first time, even if it was just to a couple of kids you babysit for. :33

Thanks Junria-San. ^^ Actually my friends know, only two of them though. But they are my life time friends forever.

What happened is that I had this weird dream and I ended up telling them.

The dream was really simple and straight froward too. This girl and I were walking out from my room holding hands and my Great Grandmother starting yelling at me saying she disowned me and everything. So we just kinda of shrugged it off and walked out of the house.

So I talked to them online and my one guy friend who is bi himself as well was messing with me saying "join me, join me!" and being a goof. And my other friend was claiming the fact I was finally coming out of being in denial, and that she was right. Haha.

I guess it was just easy to let it slip out for some reason. I didn't even think about saying it either, I just did. But after that I thought "Well, whatever. Who knows if I'll ever babysit them again so I guess it doesn't matter."

But it was super easy for them to accept because they had a friend that was gay and stuff. It makes me happy though that even people younger than me are accepting everything even more than I had expected.

But hey apparently they loved me and said I was the coolest babysitter ever. XD

Ohh I see. Well that's pretty awesome, then.

And wow, really? How old are they? That is pretty awesome that the younger generation appears to be abandoning the ways of intolerance and ignorance. I remember a ten-year-old boy my friend and I were babysitting asking us to put makeup on him... But that's beside the point.

My two best friends KNOW about my suspicions of my sexuality, too, but I had never really said it outright until I started talking to this guy. I hung out with him again a few weeks later and he became, like, my confidant. My friends know the gist of how I feel, but with him I can go really in-depth, and it's very helpful. There are some things that they wouldn't really understand, so it's good to explore those suspicions with someone who knows where I am. :33
