anyone around here ever used an assymetric. I've been using a 10 1/2 c for about 5 years, and as much as I like it, It hurts my range.

I haven't played trumpet in a few years... but I'm allergic to trumpet mouthpieces. It makes me sad.

When I played... I used a "Bach 1 1/2 C megatone"... and I loved it... I had no problem playing the entire range of the insturment...

I'm not sure what size mine are, but, I have two. I use the 'clean one' but it doesn't work with me on high notes.

I use 3c and 7c. I like 3c better because I can play a higher range, but I use 7c because it's cleaner.
