Everyone, everywhere has this problem. It's because people think they can actually get away with such trades. And the sad thing is, a lot of the time, they do. Granted, the L.100 legendary/ect they get in return is most likely hacked, they still get what they want.
All thanks to those stories of "nice Japanese players" helping out the newbie North Americans back in May by giving them rares for their Starlies and Bidoofs.

YES. And it pisses me off. evil Because when people actually want a fair trade (me) for pokemon they've worked hard for (sending over my ditto and evvees/legendaries was a pain, no matter how cool pal park is) try to get a trade it flops. I actually caught a shiny tentacool is sapphire (the fact that my first wild shiny was a tentacool pisses me off by the way, I hate those things) and when I tried to trade it for a dragonaire (the tentacool was nearly lvl 40) it just sat in the GTS for a week. I eventually got a dratini for it. rolleyes

Personally, back when it first came out I had a little Cyndaquil factory. It's amazing how many people want Gen2 starters for things other than Celebi. Though that begs the question: why do they need one, when the only way to get the entry is to have one already? Either way, the extremely unfair trades make it all the easier for me to get away with slightly unfair ones.

I really wish the system was better, I mean... give me a bigger list of people to look at. I never have understood why sometimes it can show only 3 trade partners when there's actually loads.

I see bidoof lvl 1 and they want a lvl100 Arcinine. some one should find some code that efs the super high pokemon and makes the person wish he wasn't so stupid as to ask for an unfair trade. then I look at the legendary deals. WTF (focus on the F) there should be GTS police for those people. they are poke'thieves. I'm typeing so loud my fingers are getting larengitis. I look like this scream gonk crying

I've noticed that as well, but I haven't really had a problem. I have Diamond, and the first Pokémon I list in the trade are the ones I offered.
Cranidos > Shieldon = fair, IMO.
Carnivine > Glameow = Not bad either. I actually didn't think that trade would work... xD
Cranidos > Chimchar = Not bad at all. This was a hard one, but believe me, I have an army of these little suckers if someone wants one. xD
I'm also looking for some others, like Bonsly, if people feel like trading. Send me a comment/message/reply to this, something. Just lemme know, if I have Wi-fi, I might be interested. 3nodding
