marching band was fun for me for the first two years...then the heat eventually got to me during junior year..(i live in Texas near Houston) You become pretty close to the people you meet in band and like...the majority of your friends are all in band because you spend like...A LOT of time wiht them. THe band directors can get annoying and same with the drum majors. Overall marching band isn't THAT bad...sure you'll be exhausted from your show and whatnot, but when you look back on it, marching band was kinda....fun...
