Got a new bit for you all.
I've been work a lot more that normal for the last couple of weeks (I've just gotten home from a nine hour shift) so I haven't had time to post this but it's good.
Last week I was working with one of the other boys on the cheese display. He was reading out codes and I was checking everything was in the right place, I was kneeling on the floor and looked up to ask what he had said when I saw a boy standing next to him. I only looked for for a second but I did a double take and no one was there. I even ask if someone had been standing there and got told that no one had been there.
He was a young boy with dark shorts on and a white t-shirt.
Any new ideas?

Can you perhaps describe the boy a little more? About how tall, what color hair, what color eyes, that sorta thing. I might know what it is because I've come across a being like the one you described in the first post. Beause of your most recent post I'm not sure if their are two beings, or that the one is appearing as something else now. There are a few reasons it would appear as something else if it is what I think it is...

I was kneeling down so getting the height might be a little off but I think he was about a meter high, that would fit since the guy I was working with and me are about the same height. I think his skin was black, a bit like a shadow. It was only a glancing look so I didn't see eye colour but I think the hair was dark too.
If it helps whatever this was didn't feel the same as the one I normally see about. The other one makes be feel very uncomfortable, this one was more like he wanted to know what we were up too.

Okay, I figured the two were different.
The first one- It's not native to your area. It's a being from another realm. I'm not sure if this is the right term if you looked them up and saw what others call them. But I do know they call themselves Ghasts. They prefer the cold. Most of the time I've seen them is when they've been summoned by someone, who usually then sends them to harm someone. So either they've been sent to harm you or one of the other workers or they've completed their task or broke free and are now stuck here. I think the later is more likely personally. He may be following you because you can sense him and he's looking for someone who can help him get home. For now though I think it'd be best to keep your distance.

Something that likes the cold? That would make sense. The back chiller (where it normally is) has been faulty for the last couple of weeks and nothing much seems to be happening in there now.
I've never heard of a Ghasts before, I'd like to know more about them.

Most of the few I've run into don't care for me, but one of them has stuck around and even been instated as one of my guardians. She lost her memories when she was summoned though, so for a bit she didn't even know what she was or anything like that. So I'm afraid I can't get extremely detailed or anything. Their energy is a kind that can change and grow. A friend of mine tried to analyze a bit of the energy Ghasts have and it grew quickly and seemed to be trying to coat her. They seem to be void of feeling except the feelings they pick up when they're summoned, which of course are usually of hatred. If one is calmed and regains control of themselves, they get a face. As in a normal looking face.
I have to go now but I'll tell you more later.

Well if it sounds like what you have, then it probably is!
They don't like mirrors, so one way to repel them is by wearing something with a reflective surface, like sequins. You probably have a uniform you have to wear though. You could also carry a small mirror in your pocket. Don't look at their faces too long and especially not their mouth, as it has a hypnotic effect. One thing you shouldn't do is try to approach it. All you'll do is make them think they can manipulate you. If it wants to go home, it'll approach you first. At first though you should refuse to help it in anyway. The only time it is safe to have any sort of dealings with a Ghast is if they have a face. The people who summon them are troubled with intense nightmares until the Ghast finds peace or returns home.
If one goes though you it will leave a ball of negative energy inside your spirit causing you to become very sick. The best way to be rid of it is if you can imagine you're looking inside yourself, find the negative energy (which usually appears as a black ball), and try to imagine it being purged out in some manner. If you can't do that on your own for some reason, you may try wearing a pentacle with jewels at the points. if you know how you can push the energy into the pentacle, then purge it from there. Or just let the pentacle absorb the energy on it's own and use a purging ritual. You want to get it out ASAP though. You may even want to seek out someone else to help you, but I for one suggest getting rid of it on your own unless you're absolutely positive you can trust the person.
I can't think of anything else at the moment, but feel free to ask me questions.

Well my spooky co-worker seems to have calmed down a bit, but since it's now two weeks to Christmas I'm betting he's going to get really active again.
Although he seems to have learn a new trick. About a month ago we have some long over due repairs done to the chillers (the area I work in) and this includes the lights. Keep this is mind the lights have just been repaired, and whatever it is that hides in the chillers had found out how to turn the lights on and off. It's getting very annoying and since the chillers go pitch black when the lights are off it's hell scary.
Thankfully he only turns one set of lights off at a time and not all of them at once.
The first time he did it too me, I was on my own and it was just like someone had flicked the switch on and off quickly. I grumbled under my breath that 'it wasn't helping' since I was looking for something and it stopped.
The second time me and two other women where in the chillers, as two of us went to leave the lights when on and off. Confused I called up to the other end (there's another light switch right at the back where the delivery gets unloaded) to see if anyone was up there but no one was.
I'm kind of hoping this isn't a warm up for more stuff later. sweatdrop

Oh MAN what I would give to work at a haunted place. biggrin I could never live in one, but jesus how much more amusing my work place would be if it was haunted. I could handle a small store or something. But a supermarket I'm not sure about that one. Reading your stories of going into constant large dark rooms that a switch could easily be fiddled with by a spirit?......I think I would second guess my decision on that one. Haha oh man I wish I could work along with you.
On a side note, supposedly there's a haunted Burger King in my Sacramento area off of Florin. I went and talked to the managers there and they know about the story of that store. Supposedly the store goes two ways: 1)There was a fight between a coworker and manger and the manager got shot down. Or 2)There was a burglar who shot the store owner. The mangers there now told me they hear weird knocking sounds on the back walk in fridge.

A lot of the place I've worked seem to be haunted. The Tea Rooms and Pub in my village are both haunted and I worked there and now my supermarket. The only place that wasn't was the Cattery! And I think that was because there were so many cats around it scary most things away.

i agree with the Ghast theory, i dont know much about them except when they are here it's always because some idiot summoned them by mistake. and that they like the cold. the other ghost however sounds like a teenager. a kid that might have worked on a farm, or worked in that fireworks place. he's probaly lonley and is playing with you.

Strangly since my old boss left and we got a new one I haven't seen or felt anything. Could mean it was following my old boss.
Or I've just gotten so use to it I don't notice.
