Jordyn looked at Laiyoon in puzzlement and removed his hand from her cheek to thump the side of his head in thought. "I thought we all developed this way!" The idea that he had grown differently from the others sent out alarms and descouraged him some. What if nobody liked him because of it? His eyes welled up as the implications of 'different' settled into his little heart. Squeaking, he pulled back and looked at the older women with a determined look. "Neither of you will dislike me because I'm not right, will you?" Oh, he hoped they'd be the firsts to accept him. He was just a baby after all, he needed love.

Laiyoon's heart sank as the little'n's eyes welled with tears, and she shook her head and gently pulled him into a gentle hug. Oh, sweetheart, of course not!! Disliking you simply because of how quickly you developed is just silly! I admire it, actually. She offered the Jordyn a nod and pressed a gentle kiss to his cheek. Everybody developes differently, just as different as the individuals are in adulthood. With another gentle nod, Laiyoon ran her fingers through Jordyn's hair, and offered him back to Meretse.

Jordyn felt loads lighter after her words of encouragement and nodded as he clung to Meretse's shoulder, "just like the two of you?" He asked it simply, since there was such a difference between the two older women. It wasn't bad for either of them as they were both very lovely to spend time with, it just seemed as though Laiyoon was more open than the other. Still, Meretse did give good hugs. Laughing at the thought, he wiggled out of her arms and attempted to get back down to the ground. The little serpent was mature but still a baby and he felt the need to explore some more. Managing to make it down with minimal wobbles, he wrapped his chubby arms around Laiyoon's tail and looked up at her with a wide mouthed grin.
"I should be off. My family will start worrying about me soon," he didn't want to leave but he knew how badly Mal would scold him if he wasn't back inside of the cave by the time she had told him he needed to be home. There was nothing scarier than his sister angry, so he started to shuffle himself out of the room. Looking back, he blew a kiss to each female serpenti in turn and then made his way out.
Making his way farther and farther down the trail, his grin got wider. He'd made his first friends of his little snakey life and it was good.

((Since Sam hasn't been around, I think it's safe to simply end this all there, and start fresh later with the assumption that after Jordyn left, the girls talked a little longer before parting ways as well. -nodnod-))
