They were testing a Civil War myth that the Confederacy used a machine that shot bullets. It was powered by steam. And they found it to be plausible.

The Wandering God Vanghar Woot! Now I want to make my own. I want to make this. It would probably be better to make such a thing modelled on a Typewriter (of the lethal variety), as that was produced much nearer to the era, whilst still being a functioning hand held smg.

I saw that episode and think that if the design had bean a little more complicated that it would have been able to outshoot the Gatling Gun with twice the accuracy. Skizzors I also saw the one with the steam cannon, although it didn't work. I think it didn't work because their design wasn't Steamounk enoughe.

Skizzors I also saw the one with the steam cannon, although it didn't work. Actualy from what I remember they managed to luanch a cannon ball nearly a mile or so. Out of what I think was a sewer pipe. At only 64 psi.
