Apparently "Battle" is no longer kosher? I'd never noticed a flaw there... It made sense next to the gambut of terribly vague monikers which we adorn our recreations with (Read Fishing, Towns, Cards etc).
In any case, I took it upon myself to craft something. 250 characters is a damn short piece, mind you, and I had to plan out my spondees real careful to squeeze out every last iamb. If anyone cares, here's what I left off with.
Pure Quest
When Gaia birthed the Quest system, I believe the pervading populace envisioned a very different beast from that which it would become. Sadly, it has become a noisome creature - enslaved by the media. But Battle - That's ours to keep; That's pure.
Not sure if Gaia's gonna' like me pointing out what a b***h they've become to Viacom, but I figured it was worth slapping them with, just because they gave me a chance.

The Gaia battle system will have a great affect on the website as a whole, unlike Gaia Fishing, or Gaia Cards, which were basically small aspects to the site.
The battle system however will revolutionize the way we interact on Gaia. So the name has to be something important.
Oh... and anyone wanna reveal their names? I hope mine gets choosen... sadly probably 656 people will choose the same name. And if that happens the name is probably automatically disqualified.
So actually, to protect from malicious intent, do NOT post the names you submitted.

Actually, if you submit a name that's already been submited, they will choose the one who was sent first. Which means you can post the name, as long as you've already entered it.
I'm still thinking about it xp
Edit: oh, wait, they will also choose according to it's description. Don't post it xD

Eh, I'm not going to bother. The chances of mine being picked are infinitesimal no matter how original or how much work I put into it. Now, if the return were to be worth it, I would put a lot of work into it, but the rejection would be just too hard on me if I were to put that much into it.

Ohh, c'mon, just try it heart By what I've seen in the Battle forum, most of the names people has submitted break a couple of copyrights - I do agree that the chances of the devs choosing our titles is very little, but not as imposible as I first thought =D Just make a decent name, enter it and stop thinking about it.
