Edward was quite proud of himself as he sent his brother flying and into the grass behind him. He laughed lightly at Alphonse's words, getting up and walking over to his side, "Of course I have! Can't let my skills go to waste, can I? You remember what teacher use to tell us."
He then sat and looked in the direction of the Realm HQ, smiling softly as he remembered several events in his life that happened there. "It is weird..." he agreed, "But since I was born here... this world is my home as much as Amestris was. I had no memory of who I was at the beginning." Thus it was a lot easier for him to settle into this place, but it got harder once he regained those memories. "Maybe I should just tell you everything... if it'll help you understand."

Alphonse kept his focus on the building as Edward responded to him. He gave his brother a singular accepting nod, tilting his head as he saw smoke rising from the building's chimney.
"'Everything' sounds like a good idea," He began. "I've got all night to listen." He gave his brother a small grin before continuing. "I'm not sure I can tell you too much about what happened once you were gone. I didn't stay in one place terribly long after that - not Risembool, nor Central, or anywhere really." A small shrug of his shoulders. "I already told you the rest of that, though. And here we are."
"So what happened, brother?"

This story wasn't going to be short, and heaving a sigh, Edward started into telling his brother all about his life here. He remembered little from his first days of life, but as far back as he could remember... he didn't know anything of his past. Roy Mustang had been there, and he raised him... up until the point he started remembering. It was then that Mustang began to grow distant... depressed... and pretty much ignoring the bewildered Edward completely... who had thought of him as his father. He told him about how his relationship with Mustang had deteriorated to the point of hatred on his part. How he didn't have anyone until he met Setsumi, who had adopted him, and shortly after meeting Lilianna... who became his first and best friend. Gradually he started to remember things piece by piece through dreams, how the painful memories had been particularly hard on him.
His frienship with Lilianna grew and he met her family. He then also met Envy who had been bent on making his life hell and tried to harm him on numerous occasions. Terasu, Setsumi's son, was born and became like a brother to him... and he met a few others along the way.. but Lilianna ended up being the main figure in his life. He then told Al of how Endless fell in love with his friend and Edward came to realize his own feelings for her, leaving Lilianna with the difficult task of choosing between them. At first, she had rejected him and gone with Endless, but then changed her mind and went back to Edward. After she had rejected Ed, he planned on going on a journey with Setsumi and another friend, Ronan. Envy had also attacked him again in that span of time. Since Lilianna came back they both went with them. Not too long after coming back from that trip, leaving Setsumi and Ronan to go off on their own as they had wished, Alphonse had arrived and then he grew... finally and he knew the rest from there. Since he had to grow before he and Lilianna could... spend time together, that was the reason he had been absent the past several days.
It was after telling his brother all of this that Edward looked to him, wondering what he would think.. what his reaction would be. Leaving it open for questions.

Alphonse was attentive and silent throughout pretty much all of Edward's story and explanation. The younger Elric brother kept his ears raised high on his head, occaisonally dipping them slightly as Ed spoke about Envy's attacks on him. He seemed particularly curious as Edward went into the parts about Liliana, and he couldn't help but wonder why somebody would want to choose between different people they knew and liked. But the youth slowly shook his head afterwards at the thought of that - love like that was completely foreign and unknown to him right now. It was an issue that seemed... grown up, something that somebody much older than him would worry about. He blinked when the explanation was done.
"Wow..." He said in a quiet voice. "You really have done a lot here. All I've done was arrive, try to leave again, then stand around here drawing on the path." He grinned sheepishly. "I doubt the owners would appreciate that very much."
"What kind of journey did you go on, brother?" He raised his ears high on his head again with his curiousity. "Was it a long one? Did anything exciting happen?" He was wagging tails now. His ears and tails seemed to like moving a lot, and whether the movement was instinctive or voluntary, not even Alphonse really knew himself. Being a Kitsusagi was weird.

Reflecting his brother's grin, he rolled his shoulders, "You're here now, Al." Edward really looked forward to being with his brother again, to enjoying life with his younger sibling at his side once more. It wouldn't be quite like old times, but that didn't matter.
Ears perked up at his question, "Well... Setsumi and Ronan were wanting to get away for awhile, so Lily and I were just tagging along. The desert was the worst part" he cringed at that. Edward had never done very well in deserts and this had been no exception. "We stopped at a beach. Have you ever seen the ocean before, Al? Its amazing! Ronan also showed me this bush that can grow pearls. I found one and gave it to Lily" his grin broad at this point as he remembered giving her that pearl. We eventually got to a forest where we met a pixie Kitsusagi. We all then parted ways and Lily and I came back." That was pretty much it.
