No, that is not close to the most violent things I've seen.
I've seen some pretty messed up s***, usuall with me included.
Let me just start with this...
I was in school one day, just minding my own buisness, then I came upon my friend and this other guy in an argument. My friend got into the other guy's face, a the guy grabs his head and slams it into a wall. He died on the way to the hospital and the guy that killed him got tried as an adult.

Honestly, I don't really think our society is getting more violent, although, we tend to have much better stuff now to get violent with than we did in the past. But violence has always been around, and always will be most likely, and it will probably only seemingly get worse as time goes on, but in reality, it probably won't actually get any worse or any better for that matter.
