After so much ******** searching I actually found a book that has only what I want. Spells. All I ask in a book of magick is the goddamn spells. I don't want to read the explanation of how s**t works or why s**t works. I don't want to read who created the universe and blahdeeblah. I want a book with hundreds of pages of nothing but SPELLS.
I found one, that seems okay. Necronomicon Spellbook. Names like 50 sumarian gods and what not, and the spells are easier than taking a s**t. Gosh im vulgar today. Anyway, does anyone know of any such books? Any spells really, summoning, cursing, healing, anything whatsoever.
On a side note, if chocokarma happens to read this, PM me.

Well, the Necronomicon spell book is a fictional work of H.P. Lovecraft, but I suppose if done right it wouldn't matter and that they'd still work.
Other than that, nope, no clue of anything else EXCEPT MAYBE the lesser key of Solomon, but I don't know if that has any other s**t in it.

I got nothin' for ya. Out and out, the only books I own that have pages of spells are the likes of Silver Ravenwolf's Teen Witch, and Postmodern Magick by "Seth". PoMoMa has some /really ******** cool/ spells though, like creating an Ark of the Covenant and spell-ifying it to make it a Plague Ark, and s**t like that. I'm so gay for it. PoMoMa's right here if you're interested. I'm not so sure about the Lesser Key. Most of it is pretty much "Here's some demons. Here's how to summon them." Apparently the rituals take quite a while to perform, so you might want to steer clear of that. (What? I should mention that demons are bad? Nah, I'm sure they just get bad press.)

@blk- It's not the necronomicon, it's a small paperback book called the Necronomicon Spellbook. Though, I heard that lovecrafts works on the necronomicon were based on a real book.
@Mitsh- Word, i'll check that out. Oh btw, do you know how to like, I dunno, take say a hat, and put a spell on it so that it would protect me if I wore it. I think that would be like your artifact idea, no?

What kind of protection are you talking about? "I don't want to be shanked" protection, protection from illness, protection from injury, or just something general and all-purpose?

no the Necronomicon was fiction it was mentioned in on of h.p. lovecrafts ealyer book the hound, and the mad arab who was supost to have written it was made up by him too. if you want more darker magik then try Aleister Crowley he was a real mystic, but as for spell you'll probly have to write your own. thats what iv had to do.

(Totally off-topic, but I had to mention out of sheer coincidence)
A nickname my parents have for my grandma Polly is PoMoMa (Polly-Mom-Grandma). I don't much see coincidences like that very often. razz
Carry on.

Crowley makes me laugh. IDK, he always seemed a little too emo to me, I was never interested. True, the Necronomicon was fictional and used as a half MacGuffin story device, but I believe at least 2 versions of it have been written, just because people are so into it. I think the one with Sumerian gods is called the Simon Necronomicon, you can find it on the net if you don't have a copy yet.
