I've read the whole Bible, at least once. Some of it was when I was studying the bible at university, but mostly in private reading/study.
I'm currently reading the Song of Solomon.

blkDmen i have read the whole bible once through and i am reading again because i couldnt remember so i feel like i should know the things i need to know in the bible.. i read a few chapters everyday right now so i think i should finish before 2009 (hopefully) ahh here's the question though...are you reading it just to read it and remember the stories? or are you reading it to learn from it and absorb what it is that you can learn from it. personally i haven't read through the whole Bible. i havn't even tried to. i don't see the point in reading through the whole thing in a year or however long to make a goal to read it all is to be. i read it to study as deep as i can ....even if it means that i only get through one verse that day b/c of all there is to learn from it. i'm not saying it's a bad thing to read it all the way through...it's just not my preference to make it a end all goal. i wouldn't learn anything from it that way

I love the bible, though I am to busy to read it every day. I usually read it every now and then, but if I can, I read it like... once a day biggrin

I'm a bible quizzer, so over the last four years I've studied Matthew, Romans & James, Acts and Galatians, Ephesians, Phillipians, Colossians & Philemon.
Besides all that, I've tried to read the entire Bible through every year for the last few years, but I always get distracted, or get left behind. But I'm convinced I'll do it this year. So, I read the Bible frequently.

I've read it once through, once about half way through, and a few books by themselves. This was all with the NIV, and I'm switching to NKJV soon.
Leviticus always gets me, though. It is probably the hardest book to stay on track while reading the Bible. It's slowed me down more than once.
BTW, Moses also used the Hebrew word, "Rosh", that is translated as a literal 24-hour day. As for Revelations, I believe that the events will happen, but John described them in a figurative way.
