I really do enjoy Card. The Ender series was awesome as was the Ender's Shadow series. Just got the last book of that one. Need to read it soon. I just happen to like Dietz's writing style and stories more.
Shadow of the Giant? That was an awesome one. I like his "Tales of Alvin Maker" better, though.

Those weren't bad, but I do prefer the setting and characters in the Ender and Bean series.
