Darkness was falling. The ruling time of the light and all creatures who dwelled within its warmth was drawing to a close for yet another day. All manner of beasts who held the night as its master were soon to start emerging and that surely wasn't a good thing. The sun had made its great descent below the horizon, taking most of its light with it. The sky was a rapidly darkening hue of lilac and blue. Already the first star was visible and the moon, a mere sliver now but soon to grow fat again, was taking its place in the great throne that was the sky.

Paws as nimble and agile as the air itself seemed to glide over the numerous rocks scattered through the Rockey Egdes. Occasionally the large creature, hardly anything more then a shadow, would disappear from view completely and appear yards away. It came to a hault on what could easily have been the largest boulder there, nestled among a group of smaller boulders. His paws made no sound against its smooth surface. The three tails the beast possessed twitched idly behind it, an idle breeze causing the robes the beast adorned to billow around its lithe figure. Lilac faded to only dark blue and more stars trinkled into exsistance.

The Kitsu let his ears rise slightly, listening for any presence that might be around. He heard the leaves on the trees of the forest in front of him rustle but that was all. He took a step forewards. The one thing you might notice about this Kitsu was the way his golden eyes glowed even though the only source of light was coming from the moon and stars. The next was the ominous peppermint-colored mask covering the right side of his face. There was one more thing as well. The horrible smirk that played with his lips. It was a facial expression that could make the faint of heart's blood run cold. He looked up at the sky, his eyes flashing.

He was in control of the body he shared at the moment and it felt so good! The fiend let out a long laugh. It was the laugh of someone who wasn't all there. Shifting the position of the black sword on his back he leapt off the boulder and onto on of the smaller surrounding ones. He'd have to find someone fun to play with! It wouldn't do if he was bored.

'We creatures of the night never sleep!', the dark beast thought to herself as she paced through the darkness of the night, her red markings fading to look more like the blood they resembled from their father, and her yellow markings illuminating in a slightly ominous manner, in tell of her mother, the lady of darkness in Lunch's mind. The call of the night had the princess of the dark outside for once, and no longer under the control of her father, she fled out of her given boundries of the day and into the dark grass.

The pads of her feet stomped irritably against the grass as her restlessness called out for her to do something. Find someone to bite, find someone to bite.... hungry....! The overbearing thought seized her mind, as it often did for her, when the silent night air suddenly caught her ears and her mind burst into a fit of hopefulness, the chilling noise causing her to shudder in delight. Lunch delighted in things that were of a darker nature.

Perhaps this one would let her sneak a chomp. Oooooh yes. Perhaps it would.

The following noise, a laugh, taunted her, calling her to find it's source. She had to know, her dark limbs suddenly propelling her from her place of torment and out to find the source of this delightful prattle of the dark, racing from the open to seek the higher ground of the mountain.

Perhaps something fun would happen.

The orange tresses atop his head swayed restlessly against his head as he made his way forewards. The wind swirled around him restlessly, carrying him the scent of something very perculiar. He stopped in his tracks, his two orange and one white-and-red tail flicking behind him in curiousity. He raised his nose to the air, his ears pricking forewards a bit. Something was ahead. The grass and wind betrayed the other kitsu to him and he let out a brief cackle. Every muscle in his body grew rigid as he bound forewards. His paws came to a hult atop a number of rocks. The thing, whatever it was, was ahead of him.

"Who's there?" He purred a little too entusiastically, his eyes searching the darkness that loomed ahead of him. Was this the answer to his boredrom? He sure hoped so.
