-hannaaa Kipluck Hannaaa, thanks for not hating me fr being so pushy!!! I heart you, kiddo! *hugs* kitties >w< I love all animals, though I don't have any cats. But I did just remove a stick from a poor cats foot this week (my roomie and I do rescue/rehab/rehoming). He is doing well, and was released (he is a fixed feral)

I would agree with that as well. Between my roomie and I at our house we now have: 2 dogs (Trinket and Shasta) 3 sugar gliders (Epiphany Jo, Lilo, and ********* gerbil (Boo[Bonic]) 1 Red ear Slider turtle (Captain Michaelangelo Tortuga) 1 Russian Tortoise (Bratanik) 1 sparrow (Zespree) 1 canary (Igor) 1 parakeet (Critter) 2 Parrots (McKenzie and Buddy) 1 betta (Mikael Gorbachev ("Gorby")) 10 hermit crabs (Blingy McBloomingdales, Dora the Explorah, OshKosh, Grandma Hazelnut, Horchata, Wilson, Kami, Prissy Princess Pearl, Diego, and Muffin)

Krego-sama you fail to impress me. (no cats?) I was fostering a feral wildcat kitten for a while. THAT was an adventure. But no, no cats as permanent members. Because, see, the dogs and birds ARE permanent (and, incidentally, the roomie's) were here first. And Trinket does not like cats. (Shasta does.) The dogs have seniority. It ALL goes on seniority. We promised them happiness first. So no cats at this time, except temporary fosters. Everyone just has to DEAL with fosters. It's our life. 3nodding suu-san wow, how do you keep them from killing each other? We have a rule posted on our wall (we really do.) Nobody in the Family is Allowed to Eat Anybody Else in the Family! However, since only the roomie and I can read, we also take precautions. MOST everyone gets along. The dogs and turtles get along, the dogs like the birds (oddly.) Shasta likes EVERYONE, even the gerbil and the hermit crabs. The Gerbil (stupidly) likes EVERYONE even if they would really like to eat her she doesn't know that. Trinket would, if she were allowed, kill the gliders or the gerbil or hermit crabs, maybe. The gliders, if they were allowed, would eat the birds (all of them) AND the gerbil and maybe the crabs. To this end, the sugar gliders have their own room (next to mine... they are my babies) Everyone is supervised when playing together, JUST IN CASE. Trinket, especially, is not allowed to be with small animals when they are out of cages. It all works, somehow. We like it. Even if it is like living in the middle of a small zoo it is the only way I would want my life to be. In fact, were I more financially stable, there are other things I would adopt. Plus, we usually have something temporary... a foster of some sort waiting to be rehomed. Most recently it was a starved puppy. cry Right before that it was pipit with just one wing. You just never know.
