Lina waved the cloth to start the race, with Liz as part of it, and the cars were off, tearing down the street, drag style, but it wasn't a drag race, it was a sprint, the first one to Haley's territory's outer edge and back, won. Liz's Vette was in front of them, mainly because of her car's height, there wasn't much to be dragged down.

Sarah silently cheered for her friend a moment, then stopped as she caught sight of her rearview mirror. There was a car sitting in the shadows. As she pretended to silently cheer, she glanced up at the mirror every so often. The car was a Ford GT. And Sarah only knew of one Ford in the City.

The Vette struggled to stay ahead of its competition, there wasn't as much horsepower in the car that she would have liked, she would have to be a little bit brutal in this race. She lowered the suspension of the Vette, gaining a large lead thanks to that, but she slowed down, Drake gaining on her, but she couldn't find Ivy. As Drake neared her side, he tried to ram Liz's Vette, but his wheels were caught by the blades on the Vettes rims, and he spun out of control, crashing into a lot of piled up garbage, he was out of the race, for now. Liz stepped on the accelerator, hoping to cautch up to Ivy, but the chances were slim.

Sarah silently pleaded for the racers to hurry up, knowing Harley would leave if the odds were against him.

She then flipped open a button protector, and pressed the button, opening up a secret compartment on the rear fender of her Vette, and revealed a switch. She then flipped the switch, and the concealed jet engines fired, boosting her farther ahead of where Drake's car lay, and, hopefully, ahead of Ivy. Ivy shot out infront of Liz, unaware of Liz behind her.

Liz'd Corvette slammed into Ivy, making her squeal out of control. Unfortunately, the impact shut down Liz's engines, all 3 of them, and she slowed to a stop, the Vette unable to move.

the new recruit sighns up for the next race with his motorcycle which had all types of guns on it and concealed
