Bracken scruffed his face, "Here," with a simple touch on the forehead, Lura was limp, almost boneless. She was once again out cold, any attempt to contact her would end fruitless. "Carry her," Bracken honestly didn't want to be the one who held her when they entered the Fortress and the Lords throne room. He didn't want to be the one who had to pay the price, if it was her fellow there would be less to worry about. "Just hurry up."
Z watched the parade of many cross Spring to Summer. Lord stood before his throne. "Gervel nok zert?" 'Are they here?'
"Yes my lord. They'll be here for the ceramony tonight,"
"Tromar crat solema!" 'Propare the alter!"
"Yes my lord." and Z was gone.
The alter room was to be prept, Lord would be stronger tonight, gaining the lives of these foreigners would give him the ability to live forever...he wouldn't have to take from those of the people, but then again...he was greedy and wouldn't take chances...he would continue to slaughter...
Z ran about prepping the temple. She didn't even want to ask if Lord held the third foreigner. If he was prepping he was convinced he had her, she just hoped he didn't expect to see the third with Brackens company.

It was awhile later till Bracken and his men arrived at the Fort. Bracken looked to the sky and saw they had arrived early, the men had time to rest before dealing with the War Lord. They had atleast a couple of hours before they had to do anything or be any where.
Why not push the limit?
"Alright men! we're camping for a while. We're to wait until Z comes for us," he fibbed. He looked back to see the two foreigners surounded by the rest of the guards. He had an inkling he should seperate them. "Set up tents..." he looked at the woman, she was stunning, far to much so to be left with that warrior like brute. Bracken rubbed the stubble on his chin. "Place the man in one, the other is mine, bring the woman to me."
Osric had packed and set out to summer, he'd never thought he'd see the day when he'd go and save the chosen instead of kill them. After what the warlord had done to his father... he held it in. "Damn how the hell could they let themselves be captured like that?"
