"Okie," she grunted, trying to push her snowball which was now about as big as she was, "This snow is really sticky." Panting and staring up at her snowball, having not realized how big it had gotten, she turned to Lexis and twitched her ears questioningly. She looked up at the snowball and then back to Lexis again before asking, "Is this too big?"

Lexis' eyes widened a bit at the size of Talitha's snowball. "That is too big," He commented, amazed. "Though it's pretty impressive. We can't use it for our snowman, but maybe we can keep it intact anyway? He looked at his finished bottom, and said, "You see, you want to make the about half this size." He felt a little bad that he hadn't mentioned that he had decided to make the bottom.

"Okie!" Talitha said again, hopping away from her oversized snowball to make another of the appropriate size. Finishing it up a lot faster than her other one, she stood back to compare it to Lexis's, making sure it was only half the size and no more. Satisfied, she turned back to him, "Like this?"

Lexis nodded happily. "Exactly. Would you like some help?" He motioned to the snowball he had made. He knew that Talitha probably could do it on her own, yet working as a team is the easiest way to go about things. Not to mention it gets things done faster.

Talitha nodded, rolling her snowball over to his, "Sure!" She dug her paws under the snowball, preparing to brace for its weight and lift it on top of the other. Pausing, she pulled her paws back out. "Do you think it would be easier to put the arms on before we lift it up?" she asked, thinking it would probably be the same with the head and face.

Lexis thought it over a moment, before smiling brightly and nodding. "Yeah, it would. It's a good thing you thought of it, otherwise we'd have a bit of trouble later on when it came to decorating the head." Happy that Talitha had found a method for making snowman-making easier, he looked around a bit, trying to find suitable arms. "Do you see any-" Suddenly seeing a nice branch that seemed like it would make a good arm, he went over and picked it up. Holding it up for Talitha to see, he asked, "Is this a good one?"

"Yay!" She giggled, pleased that she was able to come up with a solution to the future problem. Looking up at his stick she nodded, "Perfect! Now we just need another..." She cast about in the snow, wandering a little ways a way before bouncing back with a branch about as big as Lexis's, only it was bent at a ninety degree angle. "Would this one work? He could be waving!" she said.

"Yeah, that one would be great!" replied Lexis happily. He walked over to Talitha's snowball and carefully placed the snowman's arm where it looked like it seem natural. He looked over at Talitha and asked, "Does it look right?"

"Yep!" she nodded, bringing her stick over to the snowball as well, "How about this one right here?" The stick didn't want to stand very well, so she had to shove it a little deeper into the ball, stopping when a crack appeared in the snow around it. "Uh oh," she said, scooping up a pawful of snow and padding it over the crack.

Lexis inspected Talitha's arm placement and nodded. "That looks good to me." With a smile he grabbed a little bit more snow and helped her pad over the minor cracks. Luckily, the stick was behaving now.
