Man, it went up to a million now! emo It's beyond a million now, the lowest price at the market is 1,230,000g.
I know. It's so depressing. cry That's life... Seems like the ninja headband I wanted is soooooo shot down now...
Ditto. I've been questing it for over a year now.... and ever since the 2% tax thing, it's harder for me to market. =/

I know, but the thing is, the peole think that you lose like 100k in the profet when you lose like about 5k. You only lose gold when you get to around 80g and all they do is like take out 1 or 2 gold. If they were hard core in the 2% thing, we would all be having (gold).2634g.
I remember one of my friends asked me why Gaia just didn't make more gold when they said that they were doing the tax to help keep the economy in check, and it was really easy why they didn't do that. Gaia is pretty much run just like a capitalist system. And the gov. or Gaia in this case doesn't get much say on how we use our gold for our own little buisness.
Now if Gaia were to make more gold, then things would increse in value. Meaning that all the little things that cost 5 gold would increase. And if those increase, than the big things increase. Other countries have actually made more money than they had in their national bank thing. So instead of a loaf of bread costing... Let's say 5 dolers in American money, that same loaf of bread now costs 2.8 bilion dolors because there was more doloer representation than the actual value of it.
The same thing with gold in Gaia. There is only a set amount of gold and they don't want to interupt that balance because if they do, then we might actually experience a "Great Depresion" on Gaia. Obviously we don't want thast to happen. So yeah... I better stop rambling now.. Heheh...

And when it is full blown, a lot of people that were very rich are probably going to end up in the poor house, and some of the poor and avrage Gaians are gonna get rich from it. I have a level head when it comes to these kind of stuff so I'm just waiting patiantly until that time comes. I made over 50k in the market place and that was just with the little things I got from Daily Chance and very inexpencive things. I have sold less than 10 items that cost between 100-3000 gold. And I have sold over 340 items (This is between all of my mules and my main account). I spent that gold in MC's and I do plan to sell some of them when it hits and when it finishes, all those MC's that I sold are more likely going to drop in value dramaticly and that will be when I buy my MC's and some other stuff. I know that this sounds pretty crazy but this has happened loads of times when economies have crashed and rebuilt itself. The people in charge of Gaia knew that something like this was going to happen and it was only a matter of time. This is going to be the perfect time for those with a good mind in money and economics. But this economic bubble burst will determain how loyal some Gaians are. I'm just going to keep my buying and selling a bit balanced instead of going full blown buying or full blown selling.

I wish they would have quests where you can recieve a past collectible as a prize.
Or quests where a certain collectible is obtain if you complete the quest

Or quests where a certain collectible is obtain if you complete the quest I don't think that will ever happen. Remember, because Gaia has an economic system, it is only natural that they are going to follow some simple basics when it comes to economics. Here is the simplist way I can explain it: arrow Something nobody wants ends up plumeting in price. arrow Because of that plumet, people will sell it. arrow Slowly people will want it. arrow The prices will rise. arrow It gets too expencive. arrow Read the first bullet. That's pretty much it in a nut shell. There are alot of more complicaited things in economics, but this is just the extremely basic plot of it. I couldn't put the full thing in it because I highly doubt Gaia will be fireing employees simply because the web's bubble burst. I honestly think that Gaia is doing a good job trying to slow down the bubble burst from happening. Yes, we have a tax in the market place, but it's a good thing. I remember that my friend asked me why Gaia judt didn't make more gold and I told them that it is just like any country making more paper money than they could afford. If they made more gold, then we would eventually end up having to pay well over 100 gold, even more, for a starter outfit since those are the cheapest things and cost 1 gold in the market. And yea, Kitsune, those classes will do some good after all. It's rather sad that i am not going to major in Economics, but rather in psychaitry and Writing... I just happen to enjoy economics and can't wait to take it as a duel credit next year in my sinor year of hish school. (I don't want to take it as just a high school credit since when I go to college, I'll have to take it again. May as well take it as both high school and college credit so I don't have to deal with it later... lol)

The only hairstyle with a "head ponytail" has those bangs around the face, I want a hairstyle without those bangs.
