Killian ran up to the tank and jumped onto one of its wheels, sitting down he sighed looking up to the heavens only to look down and shake his head at the thought of death "So many dead, for such a stupid device..." Killian whispered. "What are we going to do once we get there, Sheila?" nodding in the direction they were heading.

"You three are gonna get off and go to the HQ and wait for Liz. I, on the other hand, will take up my defensive position." The tank's A.I. responded.

"Ten Four" Killian said leaping of the tank and running towards base still unarmed from the previous encounter of the spartan... Killian rounded the next building comming upon a dead marine... Kneeling down he looked at the mans burnt face "Plasma fire" he whispered to himself, as he took off the mans weapon from his grip "Sorry, looks like I'll be needing this more than you.." Killian said as he stood up and went towards base.

"Don't move. You are to enter the HQ completely unarmed or else the secur-" Sheila was cut off as 24 machine guns flipped out of hidden cubby holes and pointed toward Killian, along with 8 snipers a few hundred yards back. "FREEZE! DROP THE WEAPON AND GO BACK TOWARD THE TANK!" A mechanical voice said, coming from one of the machineguns.
Liz walked into the building and as her Corvette drove itself into the underground garage of the meeting area of the Conferation of the City Independant Clans, or the CCIC. "Please place all weapons, grenades, wires, ammo, mines, car keyes, belts, corkscrews, and other metals that isn't Spartan armor into the box on your left." A cool, metallic voice said from the only speaker in the room. Liz did so, filling the box very close to the top with her katana, plasma swords, chain gun, sniper rifle, and, among others, her massive supply of demolitions weaponry, including TNT (dynomite!), LOTUS AA and AI mines, and a SPNKr missile launcher with 58 homing missiles (XP).

Killian laughed and dropped his gun, turning around to see the tank to see Sheila, "Hmm, I wonder where the hell Johnson is.." Looking at the tank his back to the men, and his hands raised as he walked towards it hoping a gun might not shot him.

Sheila sighed a mechanical sigh. "Just hop on and don't get off until we reach the HQ." She said.
Liz walked into the conference room and looked at the other three "Protectors" of the city. "Hello Sam, Kelly, Jake. Any reports on your corners of the city?" "There was a massive outbreak of Drones. Seems like they were in the sewage system." Jake said, a the scar on the right side of his face permanently closinge his eye and bringing his top lip up in a snarl, like a pirate. "Nothing interesting over here." Kelly said. "Same." Sam replied. "Then lets get some Spartans on that Drone outbreak." Liz said.

Killian, not in any mood to get shot, planted himself upon the tanks side. Still feeling a little bare without any gun in hand he sat up with a feeling of insecurity, knowing at any moment a jackel could drop him with a sniper. "I guess, I'll just rely on good ol' manpower to protect me." he said looking towards the spot at where the men had popped out.

A shot rang out, pinging off of the tank and Killian's helmet. Immediately the automated snipers rang out 8 shots in quick succession. Sheila turned toward the source of the first sniper shot and fired, a massive 99mm shell flying toward the building 700 feet behind them.
"Well then. All of us shall send in fifty man teams to clear out the infestation." Liz said, already readying the teams by use of a computer in her helmet. "Are you sure that only 200 men can clear out a hive of Drones?" Jake said in anger, the only non-Spartan of the 4 Protectors. "Jake, calm down. Liz knows what she is doing. In fact, she will lead this expidition, if I'm right." Kelly said. "Right, I'll be going with the other 49." Liz said, smiling. "In that case, I'm going." The other four said.

At the sound of the gunfire, Killian lept off the tank and knelt down so he was unable to be shot by the enamy sniper fire. Right after the tank fired back in return, Killian quickly covered his ears not being use to the close fire of a tank shell. "Ha great.... just what I needed" Killian said darting for the building adjacent to the tank, not wanting to be anywhere near the tank when it fired. "I love games like this, get off the tank get shot, get on the tank get shot.... either way you win." Killian said in lively humor as he had his back to the wall.

The building behind them exploded with a massive BOOM! "Alright, you can get back on now. It's safe." Sheila said in her mechanical voice, turning her massive tank cannon to face the HQ.

"The only reason that you're not scared is because you're on the other side on me." Sheila said, as always adding that annoying querk in her programming: her tendency to always make whatever she says sound a little funny.
