"I don't feel pity for you. So I'll honor you by giving you my all." Aaron reasoned as he calculated his next move.
The floor beneath the Snorlax and Absol began to shake as a loud speaker shouted "SCENE CHANGE!!!" The frozen lake illusion disappeared into thin air and was replaced by a Sandy Desert.
"Great." Ginji mumbled under his breath.

Gadd smiled. It might not give him the advantage but at least his Pokemon could find traction. The heavy Pokemon popunded its feet onto the ground fully ready for anything that might be thrown at it.

Gadd sensed the hesitation and lack of confidence. He didn't need to be psychic to see the look of concern on his opponents face. "Snorlax! Strength! Now!" The Pokemon fixed its usually docile face and wound up for a powerful punch.

Aaron thought of Absol's moveset. "There has to be something." He thought quickly. He found it, but he wasn't fast enough. Absol was down and most likely out. "Absol, return." He smiled. "You put up a good fight bub."
He reached for his belt to grab another Stylerball at random and tossed it into the arena. Scizor appeared in a flash of speedy red explosion of light.

Scizor. He was more familiar with this Pokemon. Hopefully not as many surprises here. If he could just get through that armor he would be able to get past this one. He would need all the power he could get. "Snorlax, Belly Drum!"
Snorlax stopped in mid-yawn and clenched its paws into fists. The Pokemon savagely pounded on its stomach working itself into a fury. Gadd could almost see the power building in Snorlax but he could also see the fatigue starting to build as well. Snorlax wouldn't be able to go for much longer before tiring.

Snorlax was already down to half it's life. Beads of sweat were slowly dripping down it's face, it most likely couldn't hold on too much longer. Except for this Pokemon was known for having high amounts of HP.
"Scizor, build up your defense." Aaron smiled as a silver coat covered Scizor with and Iron Defense raising its defense sharply.

Gadd only really had one option. That defense was too high to penetrate with almost any attack. "Snorlax! Body Slam." The heavy Pokemon lunged forward with surprising speed leaping into the air towards Scizor.

Aaron sighed. A sweat drop running down his face. He only had one real choice left. From under Snorlax a bright light started to glow. Scizor had turned a bright white color under Snorlax and exploded upward, toppling the Heavyweight Pokemon over. the red Pokemon flew up into the sky and unleashed a deadly Hyper beam.

Snorlax took the powerful attack shaking convulsively. A moment later the Pokemon fell onto its back unconcious. Gadd recalled the Pokemon and pulled out his last one. A faint smile crossed his face. It was all or nothing from here on. He threw the Pokeball forward releasing Kadabra. "We won't make this easy for you, Aaron."
Gadds eyes glowed for a moment and Kadabra nodded its head. The Psychic Pokemon closed its eyes and bowed its head. Particles of sand rose from all over the arena and began swarming around Scizor trying to get under its metal plates.

The tiny bits of sand clogged the metal Pokemon's wings causing it to fall to the ground. Scizor struggled to its feet but the sand clogging its joints made it nearly impossible for it to move. Aaron quickly recalled his Pokemon. "Same to you Gadd. I wouldn't want it any other way. I hope you're ready." Aaron palmed his last Pokemon when suddenly his phone rang.
Aaron embarrassedly picked up the phone flipping it open. At first he seemed a bit upset but he quickly changed his expression and closed the phone. He shouted across the arena. "Gadd I have to go. I forfeit the match." Aaron quickly hurried inside. Gadd stood stunned for a moment as the board flashed a victory message before dimming and shutting down. The stadium folded in on itself as Gadd returned his Pokemon.
He hurried to the entrance but Aaron blocked the doorway carrying a backpack and a number of other supplies. He quickly released Dragonite and climbed on. "Don't worry. Neko is in charge she'll know what to do." He quickly turned and Dragonite took off soon becoming a distant speck on the horizon. Gadd stood confused for a moment and headed inside.
