I often use it when I'm either mad, or around my non-Christian friends. It is hard to stop, but being around other Christians reminds me to keep silent.
My older brother can get away with swearing around his mother. She doesn't punish him or anything. On occasion she will tell him that he is going over the edge, but no scolding. She hates me though, so I get grounded or something.
