KittenFreak1986 thesaiyanprincess KittenFreak1986 thesaiyanprincess KittenFreak1986 Okay, I'm seeing you post "de gozaru" everywhere. WHAT THE FREAKIN' HECK DOES THAT MEAN?!?!?!lol well if you hadn't noticed it's not a person, it's a signature, and de gozaru is japanese for...something...i forget....lol it'll come to me!...osmeday...lol anyway, but yeah tah'ts kenshin! ^_^x i heart him! Then why am I only seeing sometimes, and not all the time? I don't disable signatures. it's kittylin's sig, and sigs only are shown once on each page Ohhh... Do you remember what it means? I think it means something along the lines of a affirmation. For instance. Honto desuka, de gozaru. This is translated to "That is true, so it is." Get it?

Yeah, in the anime, they often translate it to be "that it is," or "That I am" at the end of a sentance. From what I understand, it's a very typical samurai thing to do.

I've been looking at lots of baby t-shirts lately. The one I want for my baby when she arrives is just a little pink one that says "Hi, I'm new here." lol
another one I like for infants says "You people are old."

"De gozaru" is, as far as I know, a term with no real translation into English. Kind of like "no da" (which some of you might remember from Chichiri in "Fushigi Yuugi") is it a sentence ender, though I don't know if it (like "no da") emphasizes what went before it. As far as I know, it's just a polite way to structure your sentence that was (much) more common a hundred and more years ago than it is now.

I have a shirt that I adopted from one of my older brother that has a picture of a dragon with little bits and pieces of armor strewn about him, using a lance as a toothpick and on the bottom it reads:
"Sometimes the Dragon wins."

I once saw a shirt that had, "I see small people" on it in scary letters. The guy that was wearing it was big.

At Deseret Book: "My bishop's better than yours."
MY brother's t-shirt: "Doesn't play well with others." Back: "You have been warned."
