Some Pics:
Time Attack Nissan Silvia S15: It weighs 1091 kg, put's out 445 hp, and cost me $275,000, but it's insanely quick, and with some suspension adjustment, I hope to get it into the 6:40 range at the Nurburgring.
Plymouth Cuda: It has 705 hp and 797 ft lbs of torque, there is no real purpose for this car except that it puts a smile on my face and is a blast to drift smile

nice cars. I'm not sure how much i put into the viper,lol. the evo was about the same amount as your S15 Varietta though

It's the Spec R, not the Varietta. I was hell bent on finding on a black Spec R, and it took me 500 some in game days to find it.

Every time I read a post by one of you guys I get more depressed. I got stuck on the license tests and that was about as far as I got.

They are a pain in the a**, and I think polyphony needs to reduce te # of tests (8 or 10 sounds good, but 16 is way too many).

enough with your silly vipers! The Mines tuned Nissan Skyline happens to be my favorite car in the game. With it's superior all wheel drive it pwns the Viper any day. granted that the all wheel drive just adds more wheight to the car at least it helps the car turn much better than any car in the game. The suspension is ubber stiff (do NOT stiffen up the suspension any more! or else the car will not turn well on the Nurbogring track). I was dissapointed in the American cars too. The Saleen S7 my 2nd favorite car in real life was a horrible car in the game sad. it was fast but it didn't turn well it felt to stiff and i just didn't like having to slow down to a crawl to be able to turn). However the Ford GT that car was fun to mess with! you could get the transmition to allow the car to go well over 200MPH w/ the help of some nitrous of course. However accelerating would suck. Turning the GT was like trying to trun a Semi truck mad . I still play Gran Tourismo even though i can drive. It's just that good of a game! Good luck beating the game the last tournament is a tuffi (but i beat it!).
i also agree with the idea that you should be able to paint the cars! even if you have to pay for it.

yeah who needs a license to drive a fine tuned race car anyways? JK... I agree they are boring and suck horribly! but they offer a challenge of skill that you can compete with your friends or siblings

Oh well I just worked hard.....i manage 50% of it....phew! the licsences are killer but a little effort does it all. I don't know about d 24 hr. thing tho..... stare

ah yes, that game is always fun. My dad has the third game for PS1. Been playing it for as long as he had that thing.
