 She hadn't quite expected this, really, to be traveling with Monday's daughter rather than Monday himself. Then again, Kalani also had never quite predicted, let along make sense of, Monday's daughter being a Lop, and, thus, things somehow worked out, in their own little confusing way. The beach-colored female, in any case, was relieved that she wouldn't have to travel alone, even if it was with a Lop kit who was about as silent as her father was, given the new stories that Tuuli had been relaying the household, about the monsters and things that went bump in the night. While she had grown to be less paranoid than Sunday, Kalani still couldn't help but wonder if at least a small portion of Tuuli's stories were true, and, thus, caution was always necessary.
Kalani simply wished she had had the foresight to ask Blue October if, perhaps, they couldn't go off the beaten path?Not that October would have listened, really; an indignant nose twitch, perhaps, and an expression of displeasure, but still. She was learning from Tuuli, that one, about finding the most possibly obscure path to follow, and being stubborn about straying from it, and, as of today, the blue-ish colored female had gotten a friend to accompany her. Not that she was allowed out without supervision, anyways; Monday still hadn't an idea as to how he was supposed to be raising his children properly, but at least the celestial-colored Kitsu had the sense of mind to not allow Blue to go out without someone with her.
If she could help it, though, the Lop'd do some exploring on her own, without an overly-cautious Bobtail around.

The silvery furred femme with the curly locks, dark clothing, and armsocks had little to fear from the things that go bump in the night. They'd more likely be afraid of her. She could drive just about anything away with her insanity, water guns, and tendency to randomly float objects around and/or whack people over the head with them. No... this Silver Nobody was not someone a random Halloween monster would want to run into.
Now whether the random kitsu she encountered wanted to run into her or not was questionable, she actually got along with people fairly well for the most part. If they could handle her method of randomly jumping from topic to topic and tendency to make pranks.
Now... only once had Bryn seen a Bobtail before, and that was during a search for a lost egg so she hadn't really been paying attention. And she'd NEVER seen a Lop before... so needless to say she was rather intrigued by this pair of blue-tinted kitsusagi she was floating along after. She'd been following them for some minutes now; another tendency of hers. For whatever reason, even when she encountered someone she already knew, more often than not she drifted silently after them for a few moments before she said anything. Though in this instance she'd been waiting a little longer than usual, and it was quite possible that she was seeing how long it would take the pair to notice that she was there.

October was the first to notice Bryna, Kalani far too busy reading the map she had brought along, attempting to get a clear idea as to their location. Turning to gaze at the Nobody, the Lop gave Bryn a curious look, before returning her attention back to the bobtail, thumping a hind leg to get her attention. True, Kalani probably would be a bit weary of the kitsu, though not full-out running and hiding, like Sunday, but the female had caught her interest, having never met anyone who could float in mid-air like that.
She was doing Tuuli proud, she was, going against expectations by being as adventurous and inquisitive about things, compared to the earlier worries that the perma-kit'd go and tramatize her as much as she did Sunny. Of course...perhaps Lops were different, and, no matter what the genetics were, there was some inner desire to see the world?

Bryna grinned broadly at the kit's reaction and drifted closer to the ground, flipping over on her back in the process to float upside down about a foot from the earth beneath her. "Helloooooooooooo~ Where you headed? I'm Bryna. Do you like my arm socks?" As ever, she stretched her arms forward and wiggled them when asking that last question. She always enjoyed showing off her arm socks, even if they didn't come up again for the rest of the duration of whatever conversation ensued afterward.

"You'd have to ask October about that," Kalani replied, still glancing at her map, "This was her idea, and..."
The bobtail paused, having become suddenly aware that they had been joined by another kitsusagi. Turning slowly, the female glanced at Bryna, then the armsocks, and then Blue October, who seemed relatively unconcerned by the sight of a kitsu floating upside down.
"I...you...how are you doing that?" she finally asked, flabbergasted.

Bryna just tilted her head, her hair staying in position relative to her head where it was hanging for just a moment before it seemed to realize that "down" had shifted position just slightly and realigning itself. "Oh... Just defying the laws of gravity. It's really cool. I can sneak around and take naps on the ceiling and stuff and no one knows I'm there unless they look up... you'd be suprised how many people never think to." Rambling, anyone?
She went ahead and flipped over, letting her paws dangle a bit though they just didn't quite touch the ground. "You guys wanna try it? You're not too big for me to float you both."

Now, as much as she insisted she was braver than Sunday, and that not everything scared her, the idea that Bryna could float, let alone hang upside down, in mid-air, fairly much disturbed Kalani in the sense that she wondered if sticking around was a good idea. There was also the brief, fleeting thought that exposing October to such things was fairly dangerous in itself, not that the lop seemed to give a care, but...
"B...but that's impossible," the bobtail managed to utter, "Defying gravity and...and..."
The ocean-colored female had to stop for a moment, realizing she was heading down the very path she insisted she'd never go down. Obviously, there were oddities out there, as Xianthe and Tuuli had proven time and time again, and she simply was a tad sheltered, given that she had grown up being Monday's shadow, always hiding behind him when things went wrong.
"Really? You can do that?" October finally spoke up, looking quite excited at the prospect of being able to float like Bryna.

Bryna tilted her head slowly to the other side and just sort of grinned at Kalani. "It's not impossible if you can manipulate gravity. And I can." She shrugged. She perked up a bit at October's enthusiasm, though. "Yeah! I can do that." And without another word she had both of the smaller blue kitsusagi floating about a foot off the ground with her.
