Well at level 10 you are supposed to be getting Orcish armor (assuming you want heavy). I would suggest raiding vampire lairs. They always have the best armor and weapons. Although there is the added risk of the fact that they are very powerfull and they can turn you into a vampire but it is worth it. There is a vampire lair right off of the road between Cheydinhal and the Imperial City in a cave. That would be my advice.

Get to 15 and look for Elven/Ebony. Or go kill Umbra for an easy set of ebony.

Go to any armor salesman or blacksmith and they should have the new sets up on display. Their goods are levelled in the same way loot is.

Go dungeon delving all the time, and get a little bit of money after each delve. First, bring only the Essentials:Armor, weapons, arrows (in case you use a bow), and healing ,magic, and fatigue restoring potions. Take what you can carry and keep the best item that you got and sell the rest, unless it is the entire set of the armor that you were searching for, then you just keep that and sell everything else, I suggest forts and caves. Do not go in Aylied(sp) Ruins.

There you can find heavy and light armor stronger than that of Crusader. Impossible. As you level up, so does the Crusader armor. Just return it to the little podium and get it back. There, you have a stronger set of armor already.

Plus a good alchemy ingredient. Besides, if you don't want to become a vampire, then just bring a cure disease potion, and drink it when your done in that particular cave or fort or whatever. If you didn't get the vampire's disease (porphyric hemophilia), then you don't even have to drink it. (Although, being a vampire actually isn't that bad. You get immunity from diseases and paralysis, as well as stat boosts and new once-a-day powers.)
