I recently got Vista Home Premium and I love it. I know some people have had issues with opening word 2003 documents on the 2007 model or whatever, but my laptop doesn't have that issue. I was transfering a bunch of my old stuff from my desktop onto my laptopn, and word actually saved them under: format type - Windows 97 - 2003. And I haven't had a problem working with them yet.

Also, Vista checks and downloads updates daily and it doesn't have to constantly restart like my Window XP Pro did.

The only issue I've had is that it will not shut down right. I tell it to shut down, but it never fully turns off, so I have to do that, and then when it turns on it tells me it "had an unexpected shutdown" So I'm still trying to find the issue there. Other than that, I love it.
