Millinium Snow is a manga which has three main characters (a normal girl, a vampire guy, and a werewolf guy.)

I heard that they're going to make a movie based on the Twilight book series...

And can I give my two cents on the trend thing?
Isn't it just a really old trend? ^-^;; I mean, Vampire's have scare factor and sexy factor and they're generally evil, so they're interesting for people... I mean, people picked up Dracula way back when for the same appeal we pick up Vampire Knight now, right...? :3

omg! everyone's into the Twilight series, i have to buy the books before i read it...
vampires have always been around -- but it all started out as superstitions biggrin

I have to agree with the people that say they've been popular in media for awhile! Its one of those things that kinda fluctuates in it's populaterity, it dies out only a little while other things get attention, then comes back even stronger! There's just a lot of appeal towards them, and now people even start to lean towards the horror part of them, while they used to look mostly at the romanticized/sexy part of them. ^.^
Of the mentioned stuff I have to say I like:
Vampire Knight (Duh... rolleyes )
Anne Rice (Her writing is amazing! <3)
Twilight Saga (xD)
Millenium Snow (^.^ Hee hee I check it out because the manga-ka writes another favorite: Ouran School Host Club)

Dracula is pretty sweet...xD
When I was in highschool (last year), my school did a their fall play on Dracula. I auditioned, didn't make it, but was on backstage crew, and seeing it being developed, and watching(hearing) the actors was an awesome experience, that I wouldn't exchange. ^.^ It was interesting to learn about how Dracula came to exisitance from the director also.


PS: Has anyone seen Starz' Bloodsucking Cinema, it's pretty interesting too...
