HOW TO MAKE A SCREEN SHOT
Thank you to x_Yami_x for the instructions!!!Quote:
On the top right hand side of your keyboard, there is a key that says either "Prt Scn" or "Print Screen", with a line under it and then also says "SysRq".
1. Press the Print Screen button on your keyboard - it will capture a copy of what is currently being shown on your computer screen.
2. Open an image editing program, such as Microsoft Paint.
3. On a blank page, go to the Edit menu and choose Paste.
4. If prompted to enlarge the image, choose Yes.
Optional: Use your image editor's crop tool to crop out unnecessary portions of the screen shot.
5. Go to the File Menu and choose Save As
6. Navigate to the folder where you want to save the image.
7. Type a file name for the image.
8. Select a file type (usually either .gif or .jpeg).
9. Click the Save button.

If you have created a tek-tek avi or are trying to save a copy of your current avi to submit for a contest, the process is somewhat similar as above, but instead of pressing the print screen button you do the following:
1. Right click on your avi.
2. Click Save As.
3. Go to the File Menu and choose Save As
4. Navigate to the folder where you want to save the image.
5. Type a file name for the image.
6. Select a file type (usually either .gif or .jpeg).
7. Click the Save button.
For both, once you have saved the image to your computer, you will need to use
Photobucket (or some similar site) to upload your image so that you can format it to post in a thead (or send in a PM). Photobucket is free and very easy to use. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask. We'll be happy to help.
