So I was thinking about having a contest of some sort in the game zone subforum.
Around mid-December or so.
Something like an avatar contest. With a raffle also.
And December thank you letters or gg for prizes. Also, is 50,000 gg too small a prize for a raffle?
And I'll think up a cool winter setting for it.
Banners would be a good thing too, although I cant guarantee how I'll do on those sweatdrop
I've had this idea for a while and I've been coming up with some ideas for it. I just want to give the guild some much needed attention, and kind of thank you all for creating this great place to have fun. I've really had some good times here :*)
So this is just a post for ideas. What sounds fun? Any and all ideas are welcome ^_^
-What kind of contest/game should there be?
-Raffle? Prizes?
-Ideas for the setting/side games?
-Would there be any interest in such an event?

OOooooooooooo.. art contest!
Maybe even a Secret Santa thingy? You could assign everyone who's participating a partner (secretly of course!) and have them draw them avatar art.. then you post them so it'll stay secret. :3

sounds like some great ideas! we should definately have contests...in my own guild we hold them to attract new members and to thank the ones who stay and post often, and I definately think it would add some life to this guild 3nodding

Shortly before the event, pm's could be sent to each guildy stating who they could draw, and when they're done send the artwork back to me via pm. There could be a gift in it for every member that participated and everyone who recieved artwork could keep it forever.. Brainstorming is progressing. Dedicating time this week to drawing up a rough layout for the event. Ideas are being accepted, let's make this a fun event for everyone! If I'm going to follow through, this week will be a big week for planning and making preparations : )

Art is always fun because even if you don't win you get to see lots of good pieces of work, meet fellow artists, and try something new (if you're not an art person) ^___^
