"Malha is...Malha is...lost?" Those were the first words out of the tiny bobtail's mouth when she realized that she had traveled too far into the forest. "What is the Malha to be doing?" she asked herself, not knowing whether to stay where she was or wander around like a lost little kitsu. Sighing, she flopped down onto the ground. Surely someone had to pass by there eventually. But what if someone didn't? Fear gripped the femme's stomach and she began to shake. "The Malha is to being scared," she commented to no one in particular. "The Malha wants to being home with the Mother and the Father." Slowly, Malha stood up and began to walk in the direction she thought would lead her back to the Mountain HQ building.

 She wasn't the only one lost. Kadaj was rather adrift at the moment, knowing the terrain, but not really knowing how he knew it. It was difficult, depending on instinct and not his head...not really knowing where to go and only following his paws to the next destination. The leather-clad kitsu was muttering to himself, head down and paws plodding towards who know where...certainly not him.
Then he heard something. His head snapped up, silver strands of hair brushing his face as mako-bright eyes scanned the area around him. It wasn't hard to find the source of the voice. Ah...it was one of the little ones. The cursed ones...though how he knew they were cursed he really couldn't say.
Without a word, he trailed after her, curious...wanting to know why she was talking to herself, and odd habit, by his reckoning.

Malha pricked her hears up as she sensed something nearby. "Who is to being there?" she asked in a loud voice. Seeing a bush rustle nearby, the bobtail crouched down near the ground, but before she could pounce on the brush, a small rabbit bounded out of it and down a narrow opening in between two trees. "Furry, hoppy thingy?" she said before turning around and seeing something black following her.
"What are you to being?" she asked Kadaj, pointing towards him with a fore-paw.
