Raevyn grinned as she narrowed her eyes in determination. As Orion disappeared around the turn she slowed not wanting to fall on all fours and slide out of control. As she rounded the turn she began to speed up again. She was closer then before.

Damn he thought qiuckly she caught up dispide his attempt to loose her she was better than he thought and his stumble didn't help. Regainig his previous momentum he slipped away from her a bit more before through the narrow corridor opening into a large meadow he burst though with a laugh.
The nearby animal all ran for shelter with the new presence of the wolf and his companion who wasn't far behind. Orion stopped and panted for a few moments. He hadn't run like that in ages.

Raevyn kept at her pace, not wanting to tire herself out to quickly. Bushes whipped past her face as she stayed on the trail of Orion. He was fast. Her paws dug ruthlessly into the earth as her muscles strained to gain ground. She grinned as the sight of the meadow came into view. She lowed her pace standing beside Orion, panting greedily wanting air.
