cloud looks at the metallic cylinders "well you know your staff already amplifies sound waves into different attacks these cylinders how do I say it< okay lets say your staff is drum sticks as these cylinders are your drum parts itself by channeling your sound chakra through the staff to the cylinders on contact if can fully amplify or attack allowing you to do something like this" cloud looks at a giant mountain sized boulder then activates his byakugan "eight trigrams air palm strike" cloud fire a blast a air through his palms which created a deep impact an destroyed the huge boulder "see like that"

cloud turns to kai then looks at the cylinders "well your staff even though its great at mid and close range combat unfortunately it has a limit on range and power these cylinders once hit you can amplify your attacks power and range tenfold making it much more powerfull much like a drum and it's drum sticks try on that boulder far away over there by using the seishuku hibiki through the cylinder by hitting it with your staff" cloud points at the boulder far away from them.

*kai looks at the boulder then give cluod a strange look* "I'll try cloud but I'm only a genin I'm not making any promises." *kai takes a deep breath. she takes her staff and summons her chakra to her hands then pushes the chakra to the ends of the staff. onece she hand the bluish gray chakra at each end she hit both cylinders and watch the boulder break in half.* "Well it wasn't exactly like what you did butt it was close...... only I broke it in half not conpletely distroying it." sweatdrop

cloud looked impressed as he looks at kai "that was impressive that you were able to thin the strecth of chakra naturally initailly I wanted you to just demolish the boulder as a practice on how to thin the edge of your chakra to eventually slash it in half but to do it instantly without formally practicing it you instantly mastered the technique your skills are increasing at a frightning pace at a frightning level your skills will soon reach jonin level if we keep this up but for now I have a job for you my ninja squad is currently about to head off on a mission soon but we short a third member I need you to meet me at the hokage's office for details be there shortly" cloud puts the cylinders back into the summoning scroll then hands them to kai as he walks out.
