User ImageHe had said that he would be good...

And - in being way too trusting (which obviously never resulted in anything peachy, so Lakshmi know why he was so trusting) - Fable had believed him. It was all thanks to said believing that Baako managed to vanish within a matter of minutes. This led to a tired Fable searching aimlessly for the lop's vibrantly colored coat - and after hours of said searching, the luck male had gotten to the point of frustration where clawing out his retina seemed like the sanest thing on the entire planet.

He had muttered to himself a rainbow of colorful words before he decided to rest at the nearest Big-Rock-Rest-Stop. Sparkling eyes were almost completely closed by the time he realized that he had passed this rock before.

A disgruntled sigh before he rammed his chin against the dirt gently. Large paws covered both of his golden orbs.

This day was not going well.

On the contrary, the day was going fairly well for Shreya, whom viewed any day that involved leaving Monday to watch the house as a good one. If anyone had gone missing, it wasn't of any concern to her, given that Sunday would eventually be returned home by someone, Kalani had a map, and Friday, well...

Friday was a lost cause, somewhere on an equal level with Tuuli in terms of hopelessness. The Luck had to wonder if the two were related somehow, despite the fact that Tuuli claimed not to have any parents or relations.

Continuing on her merry little way, the red and gold female just about didn't notice Fable, or, perhaps, chose not to call to his attention (she'd met quite a few Lucks by now), instead moving past him.

She was not about to get herself involved in the affairs of others, not when there were other things to do.

Ears were capable of picking up the faintest sound of movement.

Ideas popped into his head as though they were Peanut Poppers - but really, there were only two that he honestly believed: it was either Baako, or an unfriendly ogre. So far he'd run into neither in his searches, but from what he could gather this figure was larger than Baako, so it had to be the second choice. Perhaps ogres were dumb... perhaps it wouldn't spot him. Maybe if he just kept his paws over his eyes and didn't see it, it wouldn't see him; it would have to work.

But wonderment got the better of him and the luck male snagged a small peek.

Red - definitely not the color of those fairytale nasties, right? Which meant that it was just another Kitsu.

And then the sudden realization hit...

(Just) Another Kitsu! Perhaps they had seen Baako scrambling about.

And he was up on his paws, ears flattening somewhat with uncertainty as he approached. "S'cuse me ~ hey-hey-hey..." he managed as loud as Fabley-Possible.

An ogre? Better not tell that to Tuuli, then, or she'd perhaps start referring to Shreya as such when it came time for her games of make-believe. True, she was large in terms of her height compared to the other members of the household she lived in, but not monstrous.

Still, the concept of helping another with whatever they needed wasn't really something Shreya had planned on today, being the solitary type, and, thus, the Luck did her best to ignore Fable at first, perhaps hoping that he would find someone else to flag down, before giving into the nagging her conscience was doing. "Yes?" she spoke, glancing at the other Luck hesitantly, "Is there something you need?"

Not often was it that he approached a complete stranger - so in reality, this was awkward for the luck male. And he was sure it was awkward for her, too. Recalling the inescapable dangers his little loppy compadre might be getting into, he ignored the feelings of hesitation and uncertainty, and moved onward.

"I don't mean to be a bother - umm... miss - but I was wondering if you have perhaps seen a young, vivid lop running about?" it was strange to ask - especially when he had such a lack of conversation with other Kitsusagi (more so female) for such a long time. "He's a friendly fluff-ball and I'm worried that he's gotten himself into trouble by trying to befriend an... I don't know, an ogre or something." Bah, why were ogres the only thing that came to mind?

Awkward? Not really that as much as just another interruption in her daily life, something that seemed to occur whenever she went out. Oh well, kitsu were kitsu, and this one had yet to demand she join their army, or take their side in an argument, so Shreya decided to humor Fable.

"A lop?" the Luck repeated, recalling a not-so-vividly colored Lop that lived with her, "I know of a Lop, though not the one you speak of. Lost track of him?" she asked, neglecting to add that he should have probably kept a better eye on the other kitsu.

"I..." Shreya paused, attempting to grasp the concept as to how an ogre, of all things, would be around these parts (and why he was reminding her of Tuuli in that aspect), "I highly doubt he'd have encountered an ogre, but, nevertheless, I can offer assistance if you need such."

So as long as it didn't turn into her babysitting both kitsu, she'd help out, for now.
