I doubt it, From what i got Sokka and katara are the most dense members of the water tribes. I mean I'm waiting for katara to ask Toph if she thinks Aangs like her like that>< I mean Katara dosent think Aang likes her and Sokka cant tell Toph like him. Hard headed water people. Also, from the best i can guess, Sokka and kataras mother must have been hilarious. of being the leader of the tribe must have taken the funny out of Hakoda (forgive spelling as normal foe me).

when i first saw Iroh all beefed out i was like HOLY CRAP!! he is planning something....i can tell... ninja ninja also that episode was kind of decent except i dont understand why he made the sword our of meteorite rock, i mean he doesnt know if it is really brittle or will even last a single battle with out breaking off, i mean you saw how easily toph could bend the rock into diferent shapes with ease.

I don't think they go well together. Sokka developed this thing for wanting to protect people ever since Yue, and Toph hates being babied - not to mention she's totally not feminine, unlike his previous girlfriends/crushes (Suki - dress and fans, Yue - pretty pretty princess, Ty Lee - loves pink.) Plus, now Sokka has TWO girls to feel guilty about. I mean, he had trouble kissing Suki. Plus right now, Toph is too young for a relationship - I think she'd go "Kissing? Ugh. -rock in the face-".
If I'm proved wrong, that Sokka and Toph ARE a good pair, then I may wish them happiness. (no guarantee ninja )
Another thing is that giving your earth bending friend a space rock is something any good friend who found a meteorite would do.
Toph likes him, but he hasn't really significantly returned her feelings beyond a doubt.

God Sokka just earned quadruple the sexy points!!!! xd He was just so awesome in this episode. It's so nice to see him when he's serious once and a while, and to show that he does matter a lot in the group. And I love the fact that now he will be considered the hand to hand combat specialist in the group, because I don't think many of them know too much about basic combat skills without bending. Another skill to add to his expertise as a strategist.

And yes, I've had that inkling feeling that Toph had a thing for him. She and him often pair up in certain situations, especially when it comes to cynicism. (They're just too funny together.) So seeing that is a big up point for the Tokka-shipping.

And way to go Uncle Iroh! mrgreen He really is the man when it comes to the old men, I mean he completely redid his image in a flash. (Old women must be squealing in their wheelchairs and walkers after that blaugh ) But what really made me give him much more respect than ever before was the fact that he would not give the gaurd the pleasure of his true strength. It was like saying behind his back, "showing dignity to a dog like you would be a disgrace in itself." Of course I'd assume Uncle would be too nice to think that way...although I probably wouldn't be. sweatdrop

And it looks like the White Lotus is going to be a very strong ally (or method of hiding and transportation) for the party in the future. And that Sokka's master may show up again. (He kinda looks like an older version of Sokka.)

I belive his decision was based on the idea that it was surpost to be special and something that was like no other. Also maybe because it came from space and was covered in blue fire, it can take very high temp fire?

I'd have to agree with the two previous posts about the sword and why Sokka chose it. I mean, if you think about it, would you rather have ordinary metal OR metal that came from the far reaches of the universe? But, we still need to see it in action, especially with the benders.

OoOo, anyone think we'd see if it can deflect that dudes fire beam in next weeks episode?
