The gentle wind seemed colder now. It was an awkward silence again. He rarely talks to anyone but himself. Keeping a conversation wasn't his best suit. "Abby..do you like being alone?" The question was very random, yet he thought about it all the time. Does he like being alone? He could never answer.

Abby smiled only a little and then looked down the the ground below. "I use to think so but now....I'm not so sure. With the kits around I felt like I had a purpose, but now that they are gone thats not even it. I miss having them around, I miss talking to them, I miss company." She looked up to Lander and bumped her head on his shoulder. "But I'm not alone right now so I'm ok." She smiled.

Lander was..speechless. He didn't know that kits that weren't your own could make you feel that way. Bonding to things wasn't his forte, but around Abby, oddly, he could warm up to such.
He fidgeted alittle at her bump but remained calm and at ease. He enjoyed Abby's company very much.

Abby laughed and smiled. "Your a quiet Sitara ain't you?" He never seemed to have much to say but she didn't mind. She looked up the the sky to watch as the sky turned purple, the sun red and started to set over the ocean.

Lander's emerald gaze glanced Abby's face. "You could say that.." his voice was low and soft. He curled his tail tight around his paws while shifting his gaze back to the darkening sky.

She bonked him with her tail as she stood up and turned around. "Well I'm going to bed now...You came come down when ever you like." She said softly and pranced down the log.

Lander gave her a smile in return. "Goodnight..Abby." He decided to sit and watch the luminous sky a few more minutes before turning in himself. He couldn't help but think of the times he used to do this; Sitting..and watching.

Abby walked into one of the caves at the end of the fallen tree that was her home. She laid down and wrapped her tail around her self to cover her face. She started to think things over and the fact that her kits, who really where no longer kits, where no longer coming home. That realization hit her like a sack of bricks making tears roll down her face.
